EDIT: For clarification, Heavenly Scent Pet Resort has been Kennel Cough free for its entire 20 year history. Through a strict vaccination policy and the highest cleaning and sanitation procedures, we’ve been successful and fortunate to have this status. The following policy is to keep our “free of kennel cough” status.
Kennel Cough Policy
For the health and safety of all dogs in our care, Heavenly Scent Pet Resort is implementing a temporary precautionary policy due to the recent reports of kennel cough outbreaks at neighboring boarding, grooming and daycare facilities. Any dog that has stayed overnight at, attended daycare at, or visited a facility with a reported kennel cough outbreak may not enter Heavenly Scent Pet Resort, regardless of whether a reservation is already scheduled in accordance with the following.
Dogs exposed to a facility reporting kennel cough must wait a minimum of 12 days from the date of their last visit to that facility before coming to Heavenly Scent Pet Resort, and they must remain symptom-free prior to their reservation date. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to protect the health of every guest in our care.
