Hey, my foster dog Sweetie is still looking for her forever home!

Here's some fun stuff about her:

1. She does happy dances! Seriously, it's the cutest thing ever. Picture this: you get home after a long day, and she greets you with happy dances and snuggles. You can't help but smile!

2. She's from Carolina Boxer Rescue and is all vaccinated and everything.

3. She knows "sit," "wait," "leave it," and "place," and she's gotten way better on the leash!

4. She plays hard and cuddles even harder!

5. She LOVES TV! She'll sit right in front of you and demand a back rub while watching! It's because she loves farm animals. We watch a lot of shows with animals, so she's had plenty of practice. She gets super excited when she sees animals on the screen. It's a prey drive thing, but we're working on "leave it," and she's getting better. It's just her little quirk. We all have them!

6. She's great with my older dogs, but she doesn't love pushy dogs who want all the attention.

7. She loves kids; she's a gentle giant. She doesn't jump, but she does the bunny hops and happy spins. Best greetings ever!

8. She's totally potty trained! She does dances by the door to let you know.

9. She's five years old and 100% American Bulldog.

10. She loves car rides! I had to teach her to wait to get in because she's so excited for the next adventure!

11. She loves playing with the water hose.

12. She's super eager to please and loves people, toys, food, and affection, so she's easy to train!

I wanted to give you a friendly reminder that using reflections or cat laser beams for dogs can cause a lot of issues and create obsession in our furry friends. It's amazing how quickly these can become problematic behaviors!

Think about it: constantly chasing a light or a reflection is great for short-term fun, but bad for their mental health. We should all work hard to provide a healthy environment where they feel safe, not frustrated by something they can never catch. So, for training purposes, let's avoid this and embrace methods that are enables healthy prey drive like a flirtpole to aid in building a strong bond with our pups.
