It’s Horse Camp Season 2025!

Looking for a unique, confidence-building experience for your child this summer? Summer Horse Camp with MC Equine offers a safe, fun, and educational introduction to the world of horses. Campers will learn how to care for and ride horses while building confidence, teamwork, and a real sense of responsibility. No experience needed—just a love for animals and a willingness to learn!
Led by experienced instructors in a supportive environment, it’s the perfect way to make lasting memories and new friends.

If you can’t do it fast… SLOW DOWN.

This goes for all aspects of life.

Is your horse struggling to counter arc… slow it down, ask for two steps instead of ten. Build a solid foundation.

Can’t make the perfect turn? Place their feet slow, walking and trotting, be perfect slow.

Struggling to reach those big goals? Slow it down. Crush small goals. Take smaller steps but NEVER STOP MOVING.

We had a couple peeps from Brea's House Of Arts come out to the barn today! The weather is perfect this time of year!

We had some cool kids at our Spring Break Horse Camp & Advanced Horsemanship Clinic! 🐴✨

Students took advantage of the opportunity to level up their horse knowledge and riding skills. Students in the beginner camp were able to practice their riding skills in the arena, on the trail, and ba****ck! Students in the one day clinic took care of all horses at the barn, then worked on improving their riding ability with almost 4 hours of saddle time! Can’t wait to see how y’all continue to grow this season! 🌿✨

Big thanks to the team that helped me this week. Camps are not as fun and not as smooth without the support. Students are safer and able to ride for longer when there are more eyes on them. 💝🐴

We did advanced camp today! Students worked on adding speed, strengthening our horses’ turns, and learned that importance of engaging your horse’s back and hind end. We are preparing for the upcoming play days!

Learn to control your energy if you want to help your horse be successful and confident. Learn to control your emotions if you want to learn to control your energy.

I knew I’d be back in the coliseum this year! Only this time, we were chasing cows instead of barrels!

I had such a cool and humbling experience this past week at the riding in the Ranch Sort! I went in thinking I knew exactly what I was doing and I deserved to be there. I learned that I might think I know what’s going on, but just like in barrel racing, my mind went blank when it came to test time. There’s a reason why I am told to do the same things over and over again. I might know what I need to do, but it is not muscle memory yet. BUT if I never went, I would have never seen the holes in my own training.

The horse I was riding was phenomenal and did exactly what I told him. I just gave him a lot of wrong signals. 🙈
