Lilly is our KOTM! We love her to the moon and back and cannot believe the work mom has done in helping this girl along! She is a different kid and works hard every day to be an absolute star!

Lilly, my three-year old German Shepard, has taken me on a journey far different than the one I once envisioned. From a young age and despite the countless opportunities for socialization and expert trainers she struggled with reactivity toward other dogs. Her challenges have meant that she couldn’t always be part of the typical daycare groups, and in some cases was she was even asked to leave. It was heartbreaking at times, especially knowing how sweet and loving her heart truly is. But through it all, she never stopped trying to do her best.
I’m endlessly grateful for Bijou, Kristi and the amazing staff who have shown Lilly patience, love and a safe place to grow. With Bijou’s support, Lilly has been able to make tremendous strides. She is still on her own path but it’s filled with progress, resilience, and quiet victories that mean the world to me. Our journey might not look like everyone else’s, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Lilly has taught me about understanding, unconditional love and the beauty in celebrating the small steps forward. She truly has the kindest heart, and I’m so proud of how far she has come.
