The one thing that brings me the most satisfaction is seeing horses we’ve trained progress and have success. The second thing would be seeing the right horse go to the right owner, and watching them progress and have success! Although no money was added to any LTE’s this weekend Zach Paul and Courtney Lujan put together some consistently good runs with moments of brilliance….. I’ll take it with a smile!
Don’t ever get so short-sighted that you forget the bigger picture!

In case you’re wondering what we’ve been up to, this is it……I’m working a lot of hours and Steel is just standing around gaining winter fat! I loped a few circles on him last Friday, and he figured he was gonna starve to death so he carried a little snack along. 🤣

Love him or hate him (and sometimes I do both in the same 5 minutes) Little baby Jackpot Boujee isn’t so much a baby anymore! The first 2 pics are Zach’s first time on him, and the last few pics are the last time Zach rode him (yesterday). So proud of Boujee! He’s growing up and figuring his life out! Zach Paul

When I was first approached with this mare, I thought she’d be easy to sell because she was easy to like! Then after bathing/cleaning her up took me 2.5 hours, I was sure hoping someone would buy her the next day so I didn’t have to wash her again! Well, along came Courtney Lujan and fell in love with her. Not only am I happy that someone bought this mare who likes her as much as I do, but also I’m thrilled with how fast they’re getting together! Stay tuned and keep your eyes on this duo!

I love that Courtney Lujan bought this mare and lives just down the road from me! I really liked this mare when we were selling her, and I’m so glad I get to still see her all the time!
