“Meet Bandit!
Bandit is a 2 year old neutered cattle dog who came to us with a broken front leg. The owner at the time did not want to seek rescue options or seek surgical options and opted to euthanize at home “the country way”. The owner was offered a surrender to the clinic. We tirelessly worked to find a surgeon to repairs Bandit’s leg and Bandit received his procedure on April 24th (thank you those who donated to his Go/Fund Me). Unfortunately during Bandit’s procedure the damage was so significant the leg was not able to be saved. Bandit has adjusted so well to his new tri-pod life. Bandit does come with his own quarks as he came from a not so great situation. In the last two weeks we have rehabed Bandit and is learning to trust people again. Bandit is a little people shy however does warm up quickly. He is sound shy as well however with time and work, he will warm up just like he has been! He does great with vacuums, lawn mowers, and loud TVs (when we first took him in, he was terrified of TVs).
Bandit would do best in a relaxed home that can tend and work with him (no stairs preferred). If there are children in the home he will do best with children at least 8years plus who also understand that Bandit will take time to warm up. He enjoys the backyard as well! Bandit gets along with large and small dogs and cats. He can also be nervous around men and taller people.
He has his Rabies, DAPP and Bordatella vaccine, is neutered, microchipped and has had a dental.
Bandit has a fun and exciting life to live. Help us find his home! Adoption fee will apply to ensure a good home. (Located in Morgan hill, Ca)
