It’s corporate buyouts. If the current times can teach us one thing, it’s that when a person, an entity or corporation want to own all medical channels, there’s one motive. And it has nothing to do with patient care 💔 it has everything to do with the consumer - which is *you*
Working for veterinary corporations for years led us here, to open HVH. There was a better way to practice medicine & take care of your people. Patients aren’t metrics. Vetmed teams are more than quotas nor disposable. And clients aren’t sheep.
Now, not all corporate hospitals are bad. That’d be a lie. But, we see what it can do to good doctors and great nurses. From a small & private practice POV, the recent news of Modern Animal’s buyout by Chewy proves one thing - time’s are changing. And education & networking matter more than ever now.
