You want what’s best for your pet, but sometimes work or vacation travel takes you away for a while. That’s why Barkley Suites offers loving care for your companion while you are away. Our goal is to provide your family members with a safe, interactive boarding experience. We go above and beyond to provide more than a typical kennel experience. We will pamper your pet and make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and safe while you are away.
Barkley Suites has been custom designed to maximize the comfort of our guests. No chainlink to be found here. Most suites are approximately 6’ x 8’ and include a cot and blanket, so that each guest feels safe and secure in their own space. Family dogs are always welcome to stay together.
You are welcome to bring whatever you think your pet will need to be comfortable. We recommend that you bring a t-shirt that you have recently worn or a towel that you have used. We have found that having something that smells like mom or dad really helps alleviate any anxiety until your pup can get used to the daily routine and finds out how much fun they are going to have! If you do bring bedding, understand that your pup might just get in the mood to rip it up. It happens, even if they don’t normally do it at home. We will remove the bedding if we notice it starting to happen, but we cannot be held responsible if anything you bring is lost or destroyed during your pet’s stay. Toys and treats are also recommended to help keep them entertained while they are in their room.
We also ask that you bring your pets own food so they stay on the same diet and won’t have any upset stomach issues.
What vaccinations does my pet need?
For the health and safety of our guests, the following vaccinations are required:

Please have you vet’s office email us a copy of shot records to [email protected] or bring a photo copy upon check in.
Can I take a tour of the facility?
Absolutely! We encourage all of our guests to take a tour of Barkley Suites to see the hotel for themselves! Taking a tour will give you the opportunity to seer your pet’s room and see exactly what their day will look like when they stay with us. Tours are given anytime during our business hours.
How often will my dog be let outside?
Your dog will be let outside at least every 2 hours during our business hours with staff interaction, as well as interaction in their rooms. They are also let outside every morning between 6:30-7:30 and every evening between 7:30-8:30.
How clean is your facility?
Cleanliness is a top priority here at Barkley Suites and we pride ourselves on when you tour our facility, you will see and smell how clean our facility really is. Before your dog arrives their room will be cleaned and disinfected from top to bottom with cleaners specialized for the boarding industry and are safe for your dog.
Are Sunday check-outs allowed?
Yes! Our check-out time if from 5:00-5:15 but we do accomadate for earlier and later check-out times as well!
