Tomorrow our beautiful Freyja heads home. ❤️🐾
After spending about two months with us, it’s definitely going to be bittersweet to see her go. We are so incredibly proud of this girl and everything she has accomplished, and I can’t wait to see how she does back home with Dad and Momma!
Freyja has worked hard on so many skills during her time with us — retrieval work, advanced manners, impulse control, obedience, targeting skills, and so much more.
But training shouldn’t be all work, so we made sure she learned how to have some fun too! 🥰 She learned to catch a frisbee, swim, confidently navigate unbalanced surfaces, jump through objects, and tackle all kinds of new experiences.
One of the things I’m most proud of is that Freyja is now taking all of her German commands not only from us, but from our grandsons too. And somewhere along the way, those boys became HER boys. 😂❤️ If Freyja gets a choice these days, that’s exactly who she wants to be with!
Watching her confidence, skills, and relationship with people grow over these past two months has been pretty amazing.
Tomorrow she gets to take everything she’s learned home and begin the next chapter with her family. We’re going to miss this beautiful girl more than we can say, but we couldn’t be more proud of her.
Way to go, Freyja! Now go show Momma and Dad everything you’ve learned! 🐕❤️🐾
