This is Sirius! He previously had a bad experience at a different hospital but has done well with us… and yesterday we found out the real key to his heart which is squeaky toys! His puppy side came out entirely by accident when a toy got squeaked and so we sent him home with a new duckie! You never know what is going to help your pet relax - we encourage bringing in any moral support toys your pet loves!

National Cat Week is coming up in November (the first week of November!) We are going to only schedule cats between 8am-noon to minimize stress and anxiety on the kitties... even surgeries - keep tuned to learn more or call in to schedule!

A big big welcome to the soon to be Dr. Sam Lynch! She is currently a fourth year vet student but she will be graduating later this month and will start working at Have A Heart soon after! Please help us welcome her to the clinic!

Here is how she describes herself!
"I love spending time with my family and my animals. I have a five-year-old cat, Mai Tai, and my parents have two rescue dogs, Charles and W***y. In my free time, you can usually find me hiking, crocheting, watching Survivor, or heading to a classic rock concert.

I’m especially excited to build strong relationships with my patients and their families while continuing to grow and explore all aspects of primary care veterinary medicine. I have a particular interest in surgery and diagnostic imaging, including ultrasound and radiology."

We are star struck today! Vega Vega came in to see us and is feeling much better from her recent infection, she loved gobbling up treats throughout her exam and even was styling a bow-tie!
