Due to staffing issues we are unable to schedule anymore appointments for the remainder of the week (6/23 - 6/27) unless it is truly an emergency. We have received word that the Emergency Hospital of Craven County (next to Sonic in Havelock) will be closed from June 9th to June 10th due to staffing issues. If you are experiencing an after hours emergency please contact the Swansboro Emergency Hospital and Trauma Center (located on Phillips Loop Road, behind the McDonalds in Swansboro) at 910-839-5934. Thank you!

July 4th is right around the corner! Please take note of our closure for the holiday. Please make sure if you need any medication for your pet, to help ease the stress and anxiety of the fireworks, that it is called in at least 48 hours in advance. This allows our doctors time to approve the prescription and also gives our techs time to fill it. Thank you!

Our Annual Rabies Clinic is upon us! Rain or shine!

*This is a CASH ONLY RABIES CLINIC

*Please be mindful of our posted times for the Rabies Clinic. We will be operating as a normal hospital that day. The times posted help us better serve you and our clients quickly.

*An exam will not be given with this vaccine. If you believe your pet needs to see a doctor, you will be asked to schedule at our next available appointment.

*This is a Walk-In Clinic only. You do not need to call for an appointment. You can show up during our posted times for the Clinic and be helped in the order you arrive.

*Rabies vaccines will be given during the posted times or until supplies are gone, whichever may occur first.

We hope everyone is enjoying the snow! Unfortunately, we will be closed Thursday, 1/23/2025. A lot of our staff members live outside of the Havelock area and we do not want to risk their safety or the safety of our clients. We will call all those with appointments on 1/23 to reschedule. We have kept our eyes closely on the impending storm and we have made the decision, for the safety of our staff and clients, to close tomorrow, Wednesday, January 22nd and will open Thursday at 10 a.m. If you experience a pet emergency during that time, please contact Swansboro Animal Hospital Emergency and Trauma Center @ 910-839-5934. We have confirmed with their staff they will be open. Our staff will be contacting all scheduled appointments to reschedule those appointments affected by our closure.
