Leveraging summit training and extensive reading, I've pioneered a method to convert ordinary weeds into a potent, natural liquid fertilizer, an achievement accessible to all. By immersing weeds in water, you can extract valuable nutrients to promote plant health. In my experiment, I submerged weeds in the red bucket pictured, weighed down by a brick covered will a makshift lid (black seedlings try), and placed it in the greenhouse. The forgotten bucket underwent an expedited fermentation process due to the heat. After straining the mixture, I chose to preserve the concentrated liquid, planning to dilute it with water at specific ratios for different applications—1:10 for soil and 1:20 for foliar feeding. Critical factors to consider are the selection of non-toxic plants, proper dilution to avoid plant damage, and awareness of the strong odor and potential for staining. This approach not only provides a nutrient-rich fertilizer but also offers cost savings, environmental sustainability, beneficial microbial activity, and versatility in use.
