Shadow Phillips

Keira Flaa

Our sweet girl was known by many names—Baby Girl, Puddin, and Smiley—but no matter what we called her, she always answered with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. She came to us from the Georgia Humane society and became our little Georgia Peach.

She found joy in the simple things: snuggling with her family, stretching out in flower beds, rolling through piles of fallen leaves, and playing with her siblings. Her favorite toys included her giant stuffed banana, although she often seemed to think her big brother Dakota's face and legs were the best toys of all.

She shared special bonds with so many. Her beloved "boyfriend," Cash from next door, was always a favorite companion. She adored her younger siblings, Batty and Damian, and spent countless happy moments with her older brother, Dakota. As a puppy, she would grab onto Dakota's face and hang on while he gently tossed her around in play—a memory that still brings smiles and laughter.

When it was time to rest, there was only one place she truly wanted to be: on the bed, nestled between our legs or curled up beside our heads, as close to her people as possible.

She had excellent taste when it came to treats. Cheeseburgers and whipped cream were her absolute favorites, and her excitement for them was impossible to miss.

Some of our most treasured memories will stay with us forever. Dad will always remember coming home from work to find her sitting proudly at the top of the stairs, smiling and wagging her tail in excitement. Mom will never forget the sight of that fearless little puppy hanging from her big brother's face during their playful wrestling matches. And all of us will remember how she would seek out her favorite person during thunderstorms, determined to cuddle as close as she could until the noise passed.

What made her truly special was her beautiful spirit. She wanted everyone she met to feel loved. She greeted us with a smile whenever we came home—and often smiled on command, as if she knew exactly how much happiness it brought us. Her expressive face could tell a thousand stories, and she often looked worried even when she was perfectly happy. She loved going shopping, meeting new people, sharing kisses, and spreading smiles wherever she went.

More than anything, she taught us what unconditional love looks like. Her joy was contagious, her loyalty unwavering, and her presence made every day brighter.

Though our hearts ache without her, we are grateful for every cuddle, every smile, every kiss, and every precious moment we shared. She was deeply loved, and she will be deeply missed.

Forever our Baby Girl. Forever our Puddin. Forever our Smiley.

Princess Hutmacher

Princess was much more than a pet—she was a faithful companion, a comfort during difficult times, and a cherished member of the family.

When I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2005, Princess became my support animal and constant source of comfort. She seemed to know exactly when I needed her most. Through good days and difficult days, she was always there, offering quiet companionship, unconditional love, and a calming presence that helped me through life's challenges.

Princess had a special role in our home. She was the "momma cat" to all the other cats we welcomed into our family over the years, caring for them with patience and affection. She had a nurturing spirit and a loving heart that made every animal feel safe and every person feel loved.

She also had a few favorite things, including Cheetos, which she enjoyed whenever she had the chance. And if Princess decided she wanted to be held, there was no negotiating. Once she settled into your arms, she made it very clear that she wasn't ready to be put down. Those moments of closeness became some of the most treasured memories she left behind.

Princess brought comfort, joy, and love into our lives every day. Her gentle nature, loyal companionship, and unique personality made her truly one of a kind. Though she is no longer with us, the memories she created and the love she shared will remain in our hearts forever.

Princess will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.

Mara Lily Powers

Mara was a beloved member of our family whose unconditional love, loyalty, and unforgettable personality brought joy to everyone who knew her.

Mara's favorite things in life were simple: being outside, spending time with her family, eating, playing with her beloved tennis ball or big red ball, helping Mom work from home, and taking long naps. Whether she was stretched out on the floor beside us or relaxing in her favorite room on the couch, chair, or bed, Mara was happiest when she was close to the people she loved.

She had a few dislikes that everyone knew well. Mara was never a fan of the vacuum, loud televisions, riding in the car, or other animals. However, she never met a belly rub she didn't enjoy. Her best friends included anyone willing to stop and give her some attention, and her special friend, Clyde.

Mara had a healthy appreciation for good food. Her favorites included peanut butter, popcorn, Fromm Chicken & Veg recipe, and just about any human food she could convince someone to share—except fruits and vegetables. She knew exactly where to go when she wanted a treat, understanding that Mom was much more likely to give in than Dad.

Those who loved Mara will always remember the wrinkles on her forehead, her affectionate nature, and her desire to be wherever her people were. She was protective, curious, a little nosey, and loved being the center of attention. Most of all, she had a remarkable way of making every family member feel loved simply by being nearby.

Mara was cherished by her pet parents, Greg and Laurie Powers. She will be greatly missed by her brother, Noah Powers; her sister, Breanna Johnson (Jake); her nephews, Finnegan, Parxten, Caden, and Nixon; her niece, Brecklynn; and her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Though her paws no longer grace the floors of our family home, her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Mara's love, companionship, and loyal presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
