Twin girls with hearts of gold!! ❤️
We had the pleasure of having these adorable girls and their amazing parents come out for a visit today AND they delivered a donation to help our flock. These are two of the sweetest girls we’ve had the pleasure of giving a tour of our facility to! And their generosity left us speechless.

Of course Hedwig, Gerty and Belle enjoyed getting tons of attention from everyone!

Thank you to this wonderful family for helping our flock!! We had so much fun showing you around!

Today we took in the remaining budgies from last weekend’s surrender. The grand total is 85! This includes 3 that are special needs (one severely splay legged, one with a gumball sized fatty tumor on his rear and one with a ping pong ball sized fatty tumor on his rear and is missing an entire foot).

These guys are the result of inbreeding. What started as a pair of budgies soon became this. This is why we stress separation of sexes and close monitoring.

Due to these circumstances, we are placing all of these guys in sanctuary.
