AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy 🐾 We will support socialization and proper care for your puppy up to one-years-old, as well as, begin obedience cues, and tailor the class to meet the training challenges of our participants. Cues we begin to introduce are: focus, sit, down, stand, stay, drop-it, leave-it, introduce recall, and we help puppy understand leash walking etiquette. the S.T.A.R. Puppy evaluations evaluates the pet parent's dedication to raising their dog (i.e. ensuring vaccinations, proper ID tags or microchipping, and regular grooming and veterinary care) and puppy beginning obedience.
Class Time: 9 AM to 10:30 AM CST
Class Dates: Aug 16, 23, Sep 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct 4, 18.
Cost: $220 (Includes all 8 sessions and the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy certificate
AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC): We work with you and your dog to prepare for their CGC evaluation to demonstrate learning requirements of the program, as well as additional cues to help support your dog to develop obedience. Cues include: Focus, sit, down, heel, stay, recall, leave-it, drop-it, touch, place, and release. The CGC evaluation measures the ability of a dog to accept grooming, behave under supervised separation, sit politely for petting, sit, down, stay, recall, and evaluates a dogs reaction to people and other dogs. We will also tailor class content to meet the training challenges of participants.
Class Time: 11 AM to 12:30 PM CST
Class Dates: Aug 16, 23, Sep 6, 13, 20, 27, Oct 4, 18.
Cost: $260 (Includes all 8 sessions and the CGC certificate)
