We have a very nice, very gentle young gelding for anyone looking.
Little Hammy is a 2022 model QH cross gelding standing 14.2h. Although he’s going through a growth spurt, he should mature to about 15h max.
Though he is only three, Hammy is quiet, gentle, and really good minded. He is not one you need to lunge before every ride or keep legged up seven days a week. Zero buck, rear, crow hop, or major spook.
I have taught a handful of lessons on him and he does have some youth miles on him. He is forgiving and doesn’t make riders pay for their mistakes.
He is learning collection and has a soft face. He is a super cute mover and has a nice rhythmic trot and canter. Easy upward and downward transitions with a great stop. He has a little neck rein and moves off your seat and leg nicely.
I believe he would be suitable for beginner/intermediate riders or a good riding kid as long as they are in a program or working with a knowledgeable horse person.
We have taken Hammy trail riding quite a few times and he loves it! He’s respectful when riding out in a group, and not overly looky. He crosses water and logs without jumping, and is pretty surefooted on rocky terrain. We took him camping last weekend and he stood quietly at the tie rail munching on hay the whole time.
Hammy currently stalls during the day and turns out with two other geldings at night. He is at the bottom of the pecking order. He is easy to catch, comes to the gate, and is a gentleman to lead in the barn.
He ties or crossties, stands quietly for the farrier, and loads/hauls well.

*Bunny is sold, thank you for the interest*

Listing our beautiful mare Bunny, who never puts a foot wrong, for sale. Hadn’t planned on parting with her anytime soon but I have quite a few four legged friends who are requiring a lot more of my time and training.
Bunny is a 2020 model AQHA mare standing about 14.3h. Absolute saint of a horse.
Quiet w/t/c, travels on a loose rein, collects when asked. Neck rein, moves off leg and seat effortlessly. She is a leg ride and can be on the lazy side at times. I’ve primarily rode her western but she has quite a few miles under english tack as well. Many youth and lesson miles as well. Super forgiving and tries very hard to please.
Great on trails. Goes out alone or with friends. Stands good to mount from the ground/block/picinic table etc. Surefooted, confident and crosses trail obstacles well.
Is the same horse every time you get on. I’ve let her sit for three weeks and hopped on with zero prep or lunge without issue.
Sound - no maintenance or health issues and is an easy keeper. Turns out in a mixed herd, does great. Stays barefoot unless going on super rocky trails. Good for farrier, ties, loads and hauls well.
Such a fantastic, versatile mare with great conformation, a great brain and tons of potential. I’d love to see her go to a well deserving kid or amateur in a good program.

Finn is a three-year-old leopard appaloosa gelding out of a POA mare and by a cutting bred stud. He is currently ~13.3h and should not mature over 15h. He has had the proper groundwork done, has been backed, and is ready to start your way.
We have owned him since August and planned to keep and start him ourselves but we are busy with other training horses and need the pasture space.
He is a smart c**t and is very willing to learn and has been easy to work with so far. He should be easy enough for an amateur to start and finish out.
Finn has good ground manners and is quiet and gentle. He stands to be tied or crosstied, picks up all four feet easily, and stands patiently to be groomed and tacked. He also loads and hauls well. He can be a bit stand-offish at first, but warms up to new people and environments rather quickly. Finn currently lives out with two other geldings and one mare. He is very playful and gets along well with his pasture mates.
He has a super cute build, great brain, no blemishes, and no past injuries or history of lameness.

‘Eddie’ is a 2010 model AQHA gelding standing roughly 15.1h.
We consider Eddie a jack of all trades as he has done a little bit of everything. He has doctored and sorted cattle and has been roped on in the pasture. He rides both English and Western and we have used him in some advanced beginner/intermediate English and Western lessons. He has been started over small cross rails. We have also used him to start, halter break, and pony numerous c**ts. He is strong to the horn and has a great work ethic. He has also seen quite a few miles of trails throughout the Hoosier Nat Forest. He is confident out on the trail and not very looky or spooky. With his previous owners, he participated in ranch rodeos, barrels, and poles.
Eddie has a nice neck rein and moves off your seat well. When asked, he will collect into the bridle and travel long and low. He has easy upwards and downwards transitions and a hard stop.
Eddie loves to work. Whether that be trail riding, arena work, rodeo, sorting, etc. he doesn’t care, he just likes to be active and doing something. If you’re looking for a horse to turnout and ride five times a year, this isn’t the horse for you. He has zero buck, rear, major spook or any other vices under saddle or on the ground. He would fit many different riders but would excel with an active rider who has an independent seat when riding, i.e. not hanging off the horse’s mouth and relying on the horse for balance.
Eddie currently turns out during the day in a mixed herd of five other horses and stalls at night. He gets along with others well and falls in the middle of the heard. He ties/crossties well, loads and hauls well, and stands for the farrier. Eddie is sound with no history of health or lameness issues.

We had some major dental issues addressed on the farm today that really highlights the importance of getting regular dental work done on your horses.
These teeth came out of a 16yo horse we recently got in.
He had two molars hanging on by a thread and one molar that was completely cracked in half and had been dangling in his mouth.
Horses give us so much, the least we can do is keep them healthy and comfortable!

Daisy is one of the training horses we currently have in. She’ll be here for a minute but, this month, we’re working on building her confidence on the ground as she’s recently fully blind in her left eye and partially blind in her right. We’ve been working on siding over to the mounting block and today, she did it without contact from the whip for the first time. Very proud of her! 🌼

Unicorns like Solo are why we all fell in love with horses as kids to begin with!

He’s ready to steal more hearts at the Southern Belle Classic this March…💙

Sprat Fajitas is a coming 2yo AQHA stud c**t. His sire, Sprat Gunsmoketari, is a money earner in the working cowhorse and he is out of an own daughter of Lena Fajita. Cow horse bred but athletic and good minded enough to go in any direction.
Great disposition, gentle, and easy to handle. He is halter broke, easy to catch, leads like a gentleman, stands to be groomed, and picks up all four feet. Turns out with geldings without issue.
Has great conformation, a great brain, and is ready to start your way this spring.
Sound with no blemishes. Lower ###x’s
