Some people have asked “why that logo?” “Are you protesting against someone?” Ect.

Let me tell ya…

Those 2 letters are my anitials. Why are they crossed out? It’s simply said but not simply done. It is a reminder to me that ANYTIME i am training a horse or even around horses, that I myself, my agenda and my ego has to be out of the picture. The horse does NOT know the plans you have for it. It does NOT know there is a show to compete at tomorrow . It does NOT know the owner is coming to watch you ride it in a week. It does NOT know your friends are watching. It does NOT know the judge is looking your way. The horse is in the moment and simply exists. My biggest mistakes and setbacks is from letting myself in the picture. Before i enter a round pen i make it a practice to do a self check. What is my current attitude? Am i upset from something earlier in the day? Am i stressed and feeling pressured to get on with the day? The questions can go on. Leave the baggage at the door. Take a deep breath and enter. Success. It’s ok to have a goal for your horse but not a timeframe.

If you would like to get your horse out of the weather, or worried things may happen that would take you away from the full care they need. We can do it for you! Question: We hear sometimes that horses have been previously abused and that is so sad….but what about YOU? Has a trainer taken advantage of your money? Are you tired of wondering if your horse is getting proper care at a training facility? Do you wonder if it is being rode consistently? Or maybe you would like to just be in touch with your horse daily…completely understandable. We offer complete transparency! We GUARANTEE daily photos and videos of YOUR equine partner and athlete. We also invite any questions or concerns you may see or have while your horse is in our care. We do not have a perfect facility yet but we are here to help…

Now introducing TDS Horsemanship LLC!! Operated by us: Trevon Segraves and my amazing wife, Mrs.Chala Segraves. We both grew up passionate about horses and have been blessed with being a student of the horse for years. We both have had/still do have amazing friends and wonderful mentors/trainers in our life, most importantly the horse. After much thought we have decided to venture on our own and seek a life training/becoming a student of the horse together.

We are now happy to announce we have an equine facility just outside of Fredericksburg, Indiana!!Our facility consist of a large indoor arena and outdoor arena, also a 13 stall barn for your equines temporary home.

It is our mission to offer a “Magnanimous Training Method” for your equine partner. A magnanimous method to train a horse means using a grand, generous, and kind approach, focusing on building a partnership through trust, respect, and understanding the horses natural instincts, rather than force or fear, often through positive reinforcement and gentle techniques like natural horsemanship, making the horse want to work with you by rewarding good behavior and creating clear, non-aversive communication. It involves patience, empathy, recognizing the horse as a sensitive pray animal, and adjusting our approach to its needs and learning pace.

It is our goal to offer a safe, calm, and healthy atmosphere for your equine partner. And are commited to practice honesty, communication and transparency with you as an equine owner.
