🚫🐶🐶 Thinking of Getting Two Puppies? Read This First! 🐾🚫

Bringing a new puppy home is exciting, but did you know getting two puppies at once—even siblings—can lead to big challenges? It's called Littermate Syndrome, and it's more common than you think.

What is Littermate Syndrome?
When two puppies—especially from the same litter—are raised together, they often:
- Struggle to bond with humans or other dogs
- Become overly dependent on each other
- Develop severe separation anxiety
- Show increased fear or aggression toward other dogs and people
- Learn more slowly and sometimes regress in training

Trying to raise two pups at once also means:
- Double the potty training accidents 🚫💩
- Twice the chewing and mischief 🪑🦴
- More time and energy to train them separately (to help them grow as individuals!)

Our Professional Advice:
🐶💡 Get one puppy at a time. Spend at least a year raising, training, and bonding with your first pup before bringing in another. This helps each dog develop confidence and a healthy relationship with you!

Have a Senior Dog at Home?
Bringing a new puppy into a home with a senior dog can be tough on your older companion. Puppies can overwhelm elderly dogs, cause stress, and even impact their quality of life. Please let your golden oldie enjoy their peaceful years.
