We took this sweet female goat in on October 30th 2025. She was at the shelter in Atlanta and was a stray that wasn’t claimed. She had an auction sticker on her head, so she was probably purchased and then escaped. Well, little did we know that she was pregnant when we took her in, but she gave birth to a baby girl this morning. Unfortunately she is a very young mom and isn’t making much milk. We are going to monitor her very closely and will step in with a bottle if necessary.

Holiday hangover? It’s ’seasonal exhaustion’ for Penelope, and she’s still recovering. Will try again tomorrow. 😴🐷

It's amazing to live in a community that cares so deeply! Last week, we received donations of lumber and building materials from a local film production, fresh produce from the food pantry, and pumpkins for our animals from a new friend of the farm. We're grateful for the opportunity to partner with and for the kindness that pours in from all directions. ❤️
