We wanted to take a minute to clarify our closure:
In our 7 years of business, we have never seen a virus behave like this. When kennel cough comes into any facility and infects more than 2 or 3 dogs, the only way to prevent the spread entirely is to shut down so that the dogs who are asymptomatic do not continue to spread it to others.
Does it hurt our business? Yes. Does it leave a lot of clients upset? Yes. Does is mean lost revenue and wages? Yes. BUT Does it mean less dogs get sick and the sick dogs get better? YES!
It is devastating when a virus sweeps through, but we MUST put the dogs first. The care and safety of your dogs and our employees are our TOP priority. We may suffer in other ways, but we get through these tough times knowing all the dogs are going to come back happy, healthy, and ready to play 🥰
For those who have sent us messages of encouragement and kindness...we appreciate you beyond words. For others who have tried to break us down, please know that everything we do is for the dogs. Kindness is always a better route to take.

We are deeply saddened to announce that Preppy Paws WILL be CLOSED Tuesday 7/28 through Friday 7/31 as the number of Kennel/Canine cough cases has increased significantly. Although most cases are very mild or treated as precautionary from your vets, we take the health and safety of your dogs as our absolute top priority.
