Teaching and playing the possession game with Murphy who is here for daycare. Most people would give up trying at about 1 minute in, assuming the dog isn't interested in playing or is too distracted. Sometimes all it takes is a few more minutes of putting in some effort to get them to play like this.

Taking a few minutes to do a little basic training with Buster the Beagle who's here for daycare. Working on a sit stay and adding in some food and toy distraction.

I will be starting weekly weekend group classes on April 12th and 13th running through the year if weather allows. Anyone new looking to join in on these classes must first schedule a private introduction lesson before attending the group class. These will be open classes so it is up to you if you choose to attend weekly, once a month, or randomly.

These weekend group classes will be *free* to all previous board and train clients after a free private refresher lesson.

Second round of group classes will start April 9 for puppy class and April 14 for obedience.

Still some spots available for the group obedience class starting on April 4th. The next one will be starting on Monday April 14th. While it is a “basic” obedience, it will be highly informative along with demonstrations. It will give you a solid foundation of knowledge to be able to train your own dog in an enjoyable and efficient way. If you have an overall social dog who is unresponsive to their name and only sits if right in front of you, won’t recall, pulls on leash— then this group class will give you the skills to address that.
