Last night we were fortunate enough to find Ruby a missing shepherd pup who slipped her harness on Sunday. Ruby was going for a walk in the park when she freaked out and pulled through her harness. Owners tried hard for days to get her back but kept having no luck. Thanks to a hunch of our followers tagging us on their missing dog post they gave us a call for help. After speaking with the owners we figured out we had a recent sighting over 24 hours prior in a area still not far from where she got away from. We meet up at 8pm once the sun started to set and put the drone to work. Battling this brutal heat thermals weren't good so I had to be on total point to find Ruby. First battery no luck just your normal suspects of deer, rabbits and a couple Coyotes but no Ruby. On the 2nd battery expanded a little further and found a heat signal against a pile of stacked fire wood.(if you zoom in on the thermal view you can see the little bit of separation from the logs I seen) It was tough to see but I had Craig come over and we finally got a good look at it was Ruby!!! Owners made a short drive over but being a few days Ruby was very nervous and wouldn't come to Craig. I had him slowly get closer and Ruby retreated and laid back down. Craig did great as i had him crawl in slowly and keep talking to Ruby. Once Craig got close enough he stuck his hand out so Ruby could sniff. She stood up and stretched her neck as far as she could to get a sniff and when she did it was all over. Her tail went nuts and started jumping all over her dad knowing she had been found. We just love these moments it makes it so worth it.

Maggie is home safe after a 20 hour adventure. Last night Maggie got out around midnight and after the owners spent all night searching for her they knew they needed some help so they gave us a call. Due to the high heat and conditions we had to wait until sunset to get started. Maggie is a very old pup so nobody was sure what we were going to find but we had to try. At 8pm I got the drone up and went to work. After a couple minutes of searching a found a very faint heart signal in the woods and to my excitement it was Maggie! Just 4 minutes after getting the drone in the air. I guide Bill into the woods to Maggie and it was such a relief when I could see her head moving around. Maggie is a tough gal as her face was covered in dirt and smelled like gas but she is back home where she belongs doing fine.

Very late last night we got a call about a missing golden retriever named Joey. Joey and his brother got out when the gate was left open by accident. Joey has siezers when he gets stressed so we didn't hate and made the drive out at midnight. Once we showed up we got the info we needed and got the drone to work. We were seeing our usual suspects of deer, raccoons and rabbits but no Joey. Just when we were starting to loose hope after 2 hours we tried one more area and finally found Joey. Joey was pretty skittish but after a couple tries he finally ran up to dad. Joey was covered in burs and tired but we got home back home where he belongs just after 2am.

Oliver is home after his morning deer chase!! While on his morning walk Oliver seen some deer and took off after them jerking the leash from his mom's hands. Knowing he shouldn't be far we got the drone. After about 10 minutes could see a heat signal the prefect size. But looking through the canopy all we could see is part of a white animal knowing it had to be him i through a weigh point on it and took a hike. Too my excitement it was Oliver wrapped around stuff and boy was he happy to be found. Hopefully he learned his lesson!!

Other day we got a call about a missing elderly pup. This pup got out earlier that morning and the owner did the best thing possible by not waiting a couple days to have us come out. Luckily the conditions were good enough were we could start early and this made quick work for us as we found this pup walking the streets after a couple minutes of searching. He made it nice and easy for us to get him back as his momma was able to walk right up to him. Wish all them were easy to get back light this. Most of the time when you find them the hard part is just beginning.

Other night we were able to locate a missing cat named Mango. Mango has been missing for over 3 weeks at this time when we finally found him. Typical indoor cat fashion was only about 100 yards from the house. I always say it but with indoor cats you always have a chance you just need them to be visible when you are there. Like a most of our cat finds they need trapped 90% of the time but knowing where they are is most of the battle. Mango was hanging out at a known feeding area for cats and there was a bunch of them there. A standard trap couldn't last so a drop trap was uses to catch Mango the next day and his long journey was over. Never give up on your indoor cats, what i have learned they move very little each night. Could only be a couple minutes and it's mostly at dusk or late at night. That's why we search at night for cats at this gives us our best opportunity in finding them.

Late night success out! Annie decided it was a good idea to escape from the sitter while mom and dad was on vacation. Sightings were all over but Annie being s past rescue she was scared of men unless she was around women. This made it hard for the baby sitter as men kept trying to approach her and making her run off. We showed up and after a bit we were able to locate Annie. Lucky Annie was staying with the owners daughter so she was very familiar with her. Once located we sent Hailey in to approach her. After a couple minutes of talking to Annie she slowly stared to walk to Hailey and the closer she got the more that tail was wagging. Annie took one sniff of Hailey and it was all over from there. Now mom and dad can get back to enjoying their vacation.

Rory the 6 pound mini poodle is home safe after a 2 day adventure. Last night we were 4 hours behind the controller on rory. After an hour and half of searching he was found running through a field but some unfortunate luck some police scared him and he vanished. Spent another 2 plus hours trying to find him but no luck. Tonight we got out and i brought back up as we had 2 drones up for the night and after a few minutes he was found along the road. It was a scary situation as we had to proceed so slow to keep him safe. But after about 45 minutes of proceeding with caution we were finally able to round him up do to the help of his favorite squeaky toy. Once she started to squeaking his toy he came right out to his mom and his 30 hour scare was over.

Tonight starts the worst weekend of the year for missing pets. I've heard on the radio where 40% more pets go missing this weekend alone. Please keep your pets safe and inside. When you take them outside keep them on a leash at all times. Starting tonight we will work all night long if need be. Don't be affraid to call us in the middle of the night I'd much rather get on it right away instead of waiting for the next day. It's such a rough and scary weekend for pets. But we will be charged up and ready to go at a moments notice. I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.

🚨 It's that time of year again... "Hell Week" for lost pets. 🎆🐾
As we approach the Fourth of July, please remember this is one of the busiest times of the year for lost pets. Fireworks can cause even the calmest dog to panic, and lost pet reports spike dramatically over the holiday.
There are fireworks shows happening tonight and all through next weekend, so please take extra precautions whenever your pets are outside. Always assume a firework could go off at any moment.
Here are my biggest recommendations:
🐕 Keep your dog leashed at all times, even in a fenced yard.
🦮 Use two leashes whenever possible for extra security.
📍 Use a GPS/tracking collar if you have one, and make sure it's fully charged.
🏷️ Wrap a strip of tape around your pet's collar with your name and phone number. Don't rely solely on ID tags—they can fall off.
💊 Talk to your veterinarian about calming medication if your pet has anxiety.
🏠 Keep your pets at home. They don't need to attend fireworks shows.
📞 If your pet gets loose, don't wait to ask for help. The sooner you start searching, the better the chances of a safe reunion.
