Back by popular demand! Our WTLI Alum Calendar contest is back!

Last year's calendar contest was so popular that we have decided to bring it back for an all-new 2026 edition!

Even if your dog was in the 2025 calendar, your pup still has a chance to shine in this year’s edition!

Where the Love Is dog moms and dads! Does your WTLI pooch have what it takes to be featured in our 2026 calendar? Enter our 2026 calendar contest by submitting your favorite photo of your dog adopted from Where the Love Is with your entry fee of $10 per photo. All proceeds from entry fees and the sale of the calendars will go to help the dogs at our rescue who haven't yet found their forever homes, as well as help pay down the medical bills incurred by some of our dogs who have required extensive medical care. Please read the rules carefully to be sure your photos are in compliance.
Rules:
Photo must be in horizontal (landscape) orientation.
Photo must be of just WTLI alums. If you've adopted more than one dog from WTLI, you can include multiple dogs in one photo. Be sure to let us know the names of each dog in the photo.
Photo must feature just dog(s) and no humans.
Photo must not be copyrighted or contain any text or watermarks.
Photo must be submitted in .jpg file format and be at least 720x450 pixels, but the larger, the better.
Photo file name must be your dog's name and your last name (example: DaisySmith.jpg).
Photos become the property of WTLI and can be used for promotional purposes.
You may submit as many entries as you wish. Each photo entry fee is $10. Each dog selected will not be featured more than once in the calendar.
Holiday and seasonal themed photos are not required but are encouraged, such as Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, Hanukkah, spring, summer, fall, winter, etc.

Entry process:
1) Send your $10 entry fee for each photo (if you're submitting 3 photos of your dog, send $30) to WTLI via PayPal () or Venmo () and add a note that it's for the calendar contest and include your dog's name. Take a screenshot of the confirmation showing the date, recipient (WTLI), and amount sent.
2) Send your entry photo(s) along with the screenshot of your payment confirmation, your name, your dog's name now, your dog's name at the time of adoption (if different) and the approximate month and year you adopted your furbaby from WTLI to [email protected] by 11:59 p.m. on 10/20/25.

Once the final photos for each month have been selected by our judges, winners will be notified. Calendars will be printed and offered for sale with all proceeds going to our rescue.

With Pet Memorial Day approaching, Where the Love Is invites you to celebrate the lives of your beloved four-legged family members who have crossed the rainbow bridge. 🐾💜

We will be holding a Luminaria Ceremony at our rescue to honor these cherished companions. See flyer.
