We are BEYOND proud to announce that our very own Megan Pappler has received the The Cornerstone Instructor’s Award from the USEA!!!! ❤️😆✨

This award is given to an instructor who acknowledges the importance and necessity for the lower levels. Dedicating their time to young riders to teach them the fundementals and educate them on proper horsemanship skills and love of the sport!

Megan exemplifies just that and more! She has teaching experience of over 20 years earning her British Horse Society A.l. Teaching Certification while learning in England! Furthermore she has developed an extremely successful lesson program having students go from starter all the way to Intermediate! Megan has helped many riders reach their goals such as FEI Events, Area II Championships, Young Rider Championships, AEC’s, ESDCTA Championships, Young Event Horse Championships, and the Retired Racehorse Program!

Megan also has the knowledge of being a groom at the 1996 Olympic Summer Games which she uses to help educate her students even more! Teaching them about proper etiquette and horsemanship!

We are so proud of Megan and all she has accomplished! She has created such a wonderful environment to learn and grow! Helping to prosper hard working individuals with big goals, strong work ethic, commitment, encouragement, and teamwork! 💪🏻

Thank you Megan for all that you have done for everyone! No one deserves this more! 💕🫶🏻

Reminiscing on Virginia Horse Trials, Halloween weekend! 👻🎃💭

It was such a great event was such amazing people! A weekend for the books with so many achievements!!

⭐️ Peyton and Ben finished their FIRST MODIFIED! Winning the dressage and having very positive jump rounds! 🤭
⭐️ Kim and Ellie had a super first trip down to VHC! They had a great dressage and flew around the novice XC! The two finished their weekend with a clear SJ to bring home 2nd, qualifying them for the 2026 AEC’s!!! 😱💥
⭐️ Avery and Fox had a spectacular run around the novice too! Coming out super strong after being based at JMU for college, they had a greatly improved dressage and super jump rounds! 🦊🤍
⭐️ Tee and Tia also had a great weekend! They started out with an awesome dressage! Huge improvement for them!! Then had a great show jumping with a super save by Tee!! 😉✨

Bummed to be the last recognized event of the season but we are already counting down the days until we are back! Thank you to our amazing barn family for their support and keeping our home show running smoothly while we were away!

Can’t wait to kick butt again next year 👏🎃

It takes a village that’s for sure, and we are so lucky to be surrounded by such an amazing one! Thank you to all of our staff, boarders, friends, family, riders and everyone else in our community! It couldn’t be done without any of you 🫶🏻🏠

We are SO proud of Jess Campisi and Misfit Toy for their finish at the Retired Racehorse Project!!! 💥 These two were nothing less than amazing all week!!! The pair finished 18th out of 56 for the eventing and 36th out of 88 for the dressage!! INSANE!!! 💪

We are so proud of them and so excited to see what the future holds for these two! I know the whole team loved supporting even from at home! Congrats Jess and Charlie!! ❤️

We are wishing Jess Campisi and Misfit Toy the best of luck at the Retired Racehorse Project!! Her a Charlie made the trek down to the bluegrass state to take on this adventure! ✨👏

The pair is competing in the Eventing and Dressage classes! They will begin on their endeavors today and continue through the weekend! 😆

We are so proud of the progress these two have made together and hope they have the most fun! The whole team and more will be cheering you on from home! 🤩❤️

A weekend well spent at Area II Championships at Loch Moy! Definitely included some highs and lows but a fun and enjoyable weekend nonetheless! 👏

BOW Highlights ✨
- Kim and Ellie finished their first ever championships and had a blast together 🤗
- Hayden and Gracie swept it up this weekend having a great dressage, two clean rounds, and a well deserved victory lap with a pretty pink ribbon 🎀
- Peyton and Ben had a great dressage in their first modified but an unfortunate early end in the SJ, doesn’t matter because they will be back out soon ready to roll 🤌

Highlights of team members for the weekend ✨
- Avery and Fox Travelled all the way from their college adventures at JMU to tag a long and they finished on their dressage score for a great finish 💥
- Karli was a great addition to the team this weekend and her and her mare Juno had a great first championships, this being only their third event they rocked it ending with a clear SJ 💃

Highlights of Friends from Flora Lea ✨
- Libby and Cheerio had a super run, having a blast jumping and finished their weekend with a victory lap and an 8th place ribbon 🤎
- Kelly and Rebel had a phenomenal weekend, staying solid the whole duration and finishing with a CLEAR show jumping!! 🧹

What a fun weekend and congrats to everyone! A huge thank you to all of the moms and friends who supported our team this weekend! We missed our girls who were supposed to come with us but can’t wait for them to be back soon! What a team, onto the next 💚💙

The BOW girls are getting excited for Area II champs this weekend! We are excited to have members in both the champs and regular divisions! Ready to get a fun weekend started!! 🤩

Our Championship riders will run over two days finishing with a stadium round on Saturday!

Get ready to cheer our girls on as it is the first time doing championships for most of our riders and Peyton is making her move up! So hype 💃🪩
