In honor of Dr. Lauren Semanchik, Budd Lake Animal Hospital will be closing early today so our staff can attend her services.

💔 Our hearts are with our friends at Long Valley Animal Hospital as they mourn the tragic loss of Dr. Lauren Semanchik.

Dr. Semanchik was not only a phenomenal veterinarian, but also one of the sweetest, kindest souls we’ve ever had the honor of knowing. She covered relief shifts here at Budd Lake Animal Hospital in the past, and left a lasting impression on our team with her warmth, compassion, and gentle spirit.

We are deeply saddened by her passing and send our love, support, and sympathy to her family, friends, and the entire Long Valley team during this incredibly difficult time. She will be deeply missed. 💐

💔 It is with heavy hearts that we share with our clients and community the tragic passing of our beloved Dr. Lauren Semanchik. Not only was Lauren a phenomenal veterinarian, she was one of the kindest souls you could ever encounter and a friend to us all.

While we have much more we can say regarding our thoughts, feelings and heartfelt stories of Dr. Semanchik, we will take a moment with our staff to navigate through this unprecedented process and remain closed this week, reopening on MONDAY 8.11.25.

We ask for patience as our Long Valley Animal Hospital family mourns this devastating loss.

💔 Saying goodbye is never easy — and saying it twice is unimaginable. Minnie and Mia recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of not one, but two beloved pets, back to back. Their home grew quieter, their routines felt emptier, and their hearts carried a grief too big for words.

But love has a way of finding its way back in — sometimes when you need it most. 🌿

Please help us welcome Juniper — a gentle little soul with big eyes and a soft heart — who has already begun the important job of healing hers and becoming a part of theirs.

She’s not a replacement. She’s a reminder.
That love never runs out. That hearts can break and still open again. That some of the best goodbyes lead to the most beautiful hellos. 💚🐾
