Cold winter weather can put pets at risk for frostbite, especially on ears, tails, and paw pads ❄️🐾.

Regularly check these areas after outdoor walks and watch for pale, gray, or red skin, swelling, or licking/chewing. Short outdoor sessions, paw wax, or protective clothing help reduce the risk. If you spot frostbite, gently warm the area and contact your vet immediately.

Winter keeps pets indoors, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! A window perch or ledge lets cats and small dogs safely watch birds, squirrels, and other wildlife. Observing movement sparks their natural curiosity and hunting instincts, helping to beat boredom and reduce stress. Make sure the perch is sturdy and never let pets near open windows on their own. 🪟✨
