✨Golden Lion Tamarin✨ Don't let the name fool you - this may not be a lion, but it is one of the world's MOST endangered primates. Due to habitat loss and deforestation, their wild populations once dropped to fewer than 200 individual. Thanks to dedicated conservation efforts, including breeding and reintroduction programs supported by accredited zoos, their numbers are slowly climbing back.
