“Loving a dog named Grace leaves an imprint on your soul that never fades.” Those are words from Grace’s human, and she would know. This of course, is Miss Gracie. Loyal to the end and those eyes tell me one more thing….I think Grace had her human wrapped around her little Paw! 🐾🩶 Honored to have painted her!

This is Trigger. His humans got to share 12 years with him before he made that trek across the bridge. Nothing takes grief away but time (or perhaps a puppy) but hopefully his portrait brings a smile and some peace knowing how much he was loved.

This is Hank! Hank’s humans are the giving patrons who heard the gavel drop on their bid of the painting I donated to Project Hope Foundation. Project Hope Foundation is the largest South Carolina-based autism service provider, serving hundreds of children, teens, adults, and families every day. Hank’s humans recently attended Project Hope’s gala and here we are. Giving and Gratitude! They do a heart good!

This is Brady. This sweet Yorkie crossed the rainbow bridge earlier this year. His human recently had a birthday and was gifted his portrait. Presents that bring tears aren’t always ideal for celebrations but it’s usually a good sign that the gift is cherished.

This is Jameson! As a human to two old English sheepdogs I have a spot in my heart for this breed. They are silly, loving, sometimes needy, and man that instinct to keep all members of their flock in their line of sight sure runs deep! So when I was asked to paint Jameson as a gift for his human’s wedding I said yes!! Congrats to your humans Jameson!

This is Toby. I recently watched him at a fantastic wedding celebration being the best dog. He even signed the marriage certificate in front of all the guests!!! I hope his humans love his portrait. It’s better than a blender, right??! 😊

This is Sammy! This sweet boy got to celebrate his human’s birthday with a portrait in his likeness. Love how his expression is one of pure innocence with a sprinkle of mischief. 😊

This is Norman. She saw a lot of things in her 50+ years, the majority of those with her human, who found her on a walk. Every 10 year-old human needs a pet and Norman would be his. Turns out Norman was a girl but the name stuck, and she carried on in life, watching her human hit milestone after milestone. Drivers licenses, graduations, marriage, children and moves from state to state. (Her portrait went through multiple states too! I thought she’d never arrive!) She may have never learned of her love for bananas and strawberries if not for the 10 year old out for a walk. I hope her portrait makes him smile like he did when he found her over 30 years ago. Rest is peace Norman.

This is Lena and Dabs. As with most of our pets, they mean the world to their human. After Lena’s recent passing her human asked for a portrait of Lena and her littermate Dabs. When I finished the painting their human said something to me that stuck a chord. Upon seeing the finished portrait she said, “It makes my heart feel better.” Aside from just getting joy from painting, her words really brought forth why -in particular painting pet portraits - brings me joy. It’s seeing my client’s faces when they hold the portrait the first time or reading their first text after I’ve sent a picture of the portrait. That is when the real joy for me comes. It makes my heart happy knowing that I made their hearts feel better. ❤️

This is Biggie. He loved his pastures, loved his horses and most of all loved his human. Hopefully his big as life portrait made his human smile. ❤️
