A few weeks ago Foothills Retirement Community contacted Dog Training Elite in hopes of getting in contact with someone with a therapy dog who would be willing to visit their residents. DTE said “as a matter of fact, we have a trainer who has a therapy dog named Denver”. Denver has been doing visits every other Thursday and loving every minute of it. The residents love him as much as he loves them! It never ceases to amaze me how gentle he is and how well behaved Denver is around small children and the elderly!! To say they love him would be an understatement!!

You know how nice it is to have the confidence in knowing that you can put your dog on place and not worry about her running off?! My car needed some TLC, so Delilah went on place and the car was cleaned and vacuumed!! Guess who didn’t leave her place but watched intently, Delilah! Great job baby girl!!

Had an amazing night hanging out with my DTE family!! So many tennis balls were chased, gave lots of hugs, and got lots of pets. Now time to sleep! Delilah and I are tired!!
