Meet Diego

The SWEETEST boy who literally just wants to be in your lap 24/7! He is the biggest ham (well BK gives me a run for his money on that) and wants to touch you. Wether its a paw on your leg, his head giving you a nuzzling kiss or curled into a ball into your lap this guy is 100% clinger. 😘

Meet Marcus! 🐾 This 5–7 year old neutered Husky mix is all husky—a big ball of fun, energy, and personality! Marcus is an overly friendly boy and a total thick ham hock who loves people, tasty treats (though he might benefit from a little diet 😉), and being right by your side like the true velcro husky he is. Expect all the classic husky shenanigans too—talking, goofiness, and lots of love! Marcus tested well with both male and female dogs but will still need a meet-and-greet with any resident pups. He also took a stroll through the cat room; the kitties weren’t fans of his enthusiasm, but he didn’t react negatively at all. Because of his breed, Marcus is looking for a home with husky experience that can keep up with his grooming and active lifestyle. If you’re an active family looking for a fun, loving companion, Marcus might just be your perfect match!

Be sure to go out to Greene County Animal Shelter today meet him and maybe take him home!

June is packed with new adventures for Lacey's Legacy!

We will be at the Greenville Petco this Saturday from 12pm until 4pm with some terrific kitties looking for love!

Up next we will be with Ricci Rescues in the Park over at Wildwood Park in Greenville from 11am until 2pm. So many other wonderful friends will be there too!

Last but certainly not least we are going to our FIRST Carolina Kitty Con in Raleigh! We are so excited to come together with other rescues in the area and showcase our babies and our mission to TNVR every cat in the county.

It is going to be a busy time and we can't wait to see everyone and find our sweethearts their purrfect match! 🥰🐱💓

🆘️ PLEASE HELP US HELP THEM 🆘️

We DESPERATELY need transport for five cats all in carriers for this Wednesday June 3rd.

The five cats would need to be in their carriers overnight (at your home or can be picked up in Kinston/Greenville) Tuesday and taken to Safe Haven in Raleigh for drop off at 7:30am

We also need pick up at 3:30pm and get them back to Greenville! If ANYONE can help please message us ASAP

The "Feral Tireshop Kitties" are growing up in foster care 💙 Firestone (orange longhaired) is still very bitey if you try to pick him up 😬 but he will love all over your legs for attention! Meanwhile Goodyear (grey/white shorthair) now jumps up into my hands to give love ❤️ But Purrelli (grey/white longhaired) still loves you from a distance only 😅

From baby kittens who tried to full out attack us every single day to semi sweet boys (Firestone/Purrelli) and SUPER sweet Goodyear- who was the absolute angriest kitten ever, its been a WILD ride!

Surprisingly Goodyear and Firestone LOVE our dogs but Purrelli still gets spooked if he sees Kai around the corner 😅

These guy's have so much personality and love to give. I know in the right home they can continue to grow and learn to love 💓

Sorry guys! Its been a really long and hard week so me and the family went to Busch Gardens for a little getaway! But I HAD to still share our FHF a day late because Fruit Salad is living the highlife now!!

This girl has a doggo best friend and STILL loves to fit into a box in her forever home! 💗 After a year and half in foster care she finally got her happy ever after!

Sweet Moana is right where she belongs finally 😍 This girl went from outside being mistreated by kids to having her very own kid that loves her dearly ❤️ We couldn't of asked for a better fit for this girl and so happy she got the happy ever after she deserves!

She will have lots of naps, laptop games and cuddles to look forward to now! Happy life sweet girl!
