'PawSessions Conversations' Behavioral and Education Series 2025

March 2nd Seminar Recap

Hello all, thank you for attending PawSessions Coffee and Canine Conversations! We love talking about dogs, and are grateful to have a community of people that are eager to learn about what we do to help your dogs become their best selves! As you know, Sunday’s seminar was all about dog reactivity and aggression. There are a few different reasons for reactivity and thus a few different ways in which it manifests. You saw this in our two very different demonstration dogs. I want to take this time to explain each of these scenarios for you all.

Demo Dog #1 - Abby is a very sweet, shy dog with some fear reactivity which we did not really see at the seminar! She was great and with Elise's experience training her other 2 dogs at PawSessions, with the needed tips Abby will do just fine working through the reactivity as she gains her confidence. We will keep you updated on her progress!

Demo Dog #2 - Tessa is a working line German Shepherd Dog, 2 years old, and has extreme anxiety around people, more so than other dogs. Working line GSD's need more structure than show line dogs. She is very sweet but can be aggressive without the right hand (http://handling.my) ler. I will be working with her 3x per week for the next 2 weeks in a low distracted environment to build her trust and teach her that she is safe with me, but most importantly I need to hold her to task and teach her leadership and structure which will lower her anxiety level. This is not an easy fix for her, but I am deirmined to build the bond and get her to be a more relaxed, happy and healthy dog! I'm in love with her already :)

Registration is OPEN for Puppies, puppies puppies! on April 6th from 11-1pmLearn what you need to know and get great tips and info on this trying but beautiful time in your pups life! It goes really fast and we can help you to survive.

Coffee, tea, and bagels will be served. Meet our staff of professional trainers who are happy to help answer any questions you may have.

Basic steps for a good newsletter

Step 1: Audience and Topic
The first thing you should do is consider your audience and pick a topic that will connect with them. Something personal and relevant to your business is always good.

Step 2: Proofreading
Next, make sure your content is accurate. If you’re discussing a particular topic, don’t be afraid to reference your sources. It builds credibility with your audience. Proofreading everything is also critical. Don’t just check for grammar errors, but review the language you use for consistency of tone and voice.

Step 3: Call-to-Action
Finally, include a call-to-action, either a link to your website or social media page, or some additional reading. You’ve got your customers attention, so take advantage of it.
