We asked our team to share one “red flag” their own pet has, and let’s just say… not all pets are perfect. Even veterinary professionals have dogs, cats, birds, and exotics with quirks, bad habits, big opinions, and questionable life choices.
So if your pet is dramatic at nail trims, suspicious of carriers, obsessed with snacks, or convinced the rules do not apply to them, you are not alone.
At Greenland Hospital, we believe compassionate care starts with honesty. We are not here to judge your pet’s behavior. We are here to understand it, support you through it, and help your family find practical solutions.
Trust our family with your family

We love our indoor homebodies! But did you know that even pets who never step a paw outside need a rabies vaccine?

It's true, and it matters more than many people realize. In 2024, New Hampshire confirmed 40 rabies-positive animals in our state, including bats found right here in Rockingham and Hillsborough counties. Bats are the most common source of rabies exposure for indoor cats, and they can get into a home without anyone noticing.
In New Hampshire, state law requires all dogs, cats, and ferrets to be vaccinated against rabies, regardless of lifestyle.

We want to partner with you to keep your whole family safe. Schedule your pet's rabies vaccine appointment this June, and as a thank-you for being proactive, we'll give you a $50 voucher toward a future Urgent Care exam (good through the end of 2026!).
Let's protect the pets we love. Link in our bio to book your appointment today!

Mr. Squiggles’ first vet visit = success 🐱

This brave little kitten enjoyed a Churu treat while getting lots of love from our team!

Positive experiences during a kitten’s first veterinary visits are so important. Using treats and gentle handling helps kittens feel safe, reduces stress, and creates happy associations with future vet care, making visits easier for both pets and owners as they grow.

Golden years = extra treats 💛

This sweet senior guinea pig came in for some TLC and left with a belly full of treats!
We often use treats during exams and treatments to help guinea pigs feel more comfortable, build positive associations with vet visits, and reduce stress while they’re being handled.
