We ❤️ Hex

Hex needs your help!
Our volunteers noticed that Hex was not feeling himself. 😥 He could barely keep his eyes open or his head up. When his temperature spiked to 106 degrees suddenly, we took him to VECC for an emergency evaluation. He needed to receive care at the hospital for a few days to get his temperature down. It turns out, Hex had a really bad ear infection. Thankfully, it was something very treatable. Hex is now back at FuRRR receiving daily medication and he is already back to his old friendly and socialable self!

We’re launching a 100 ticket challenge to help cover the cost of Hex’s care.

There’s 100 tickets for sale and the ticket number = the cost of the ticket and your number of entries into a $500 raffle. Once all 100 tickets sell we will pull the winner.

Pets can’t tell us when something feels off.

Routine bloodwork can catch changes early, sometimes before symptoms show up and helps us build a clearer picture of your pet’s health over time.

Ask us about early disease detection bloodwork at your next visit.

Valentine's Day is sweet, but keep these things away from your pets! 🍫💐

Chocolate is toxic, even in small amounts. The darker the chocolate, the more dangerous.

Xylitol in sugar-free candy causes life-threatening drops in blood sugar. Lilies are deadly to cats, even the pollen. Roses have thorns that can injure mouths and paws. Ribbons and cellophane from gift wrap cause intestinal blockages.

Keep flowers up high and chocolates secured. Celebrate your pet with a pet-safe treat or extra playtime instead.

If your pet gets into something they shouldn't, call us at (603) 431-3600 or Poison Control at (888) 426-4435.
