Meet-and-greets are done by appointment only.

If you wish to see a specific cat, dog, or rabbit please email [email protected]. All animals do not attend every adoption event because they are in foster homes and we must arrange for their transportation to either the PAWS Center or the Greenfield PetSmart for an adoption event. Please see our website, www.pawshancock.org for more information on all of our pets available for adoption.

Happy Whisker Wednesday! 🍊 Meet Mango — Our Brave Little Mama 🐾

From life in a feral colony to raising her last litter of kittens, Mango has been through so much. 💕 Her sweet babies have all found their forever homes — now this quiet, timid girl is ready for one of her own.

Mango is a beautiful orange tabby, which is actually quite rare for a female cat — only about 20% of orange tabbies are female, so she’s part of a small, special club! 🧡 She enjoys a calm environment and prefers gentle chest scratches over snuggles. A patient, low-stress home (likely as your only cat) will help her blossom. She has already come so far in her amazing foster home, and despite her outdoor past, she’s perfectly content indoors.

Mango may not be the type to instantly curl up in your lap, but for the right person, she’ll be a quiet, steady companion — a little soul who has overcome so much and deserves a safe, loving place to call home. If you have the patience to let her come out of her shell at her own pace, Mango will be the kind of friend who will quietly love you in her own way! 💛🐾
