Halloween candy can be tempting to our pets, but some treats can be especially dangerous. Xylitol, found in some sugar-free candies, gum, and baked goods, can cause serious illness in dogs, even in small amounts. Chocolate and raisins can also be very harmful.

-Keep candy bowls away from curious paws.
-Never share Halloween candy with your pets.
-Secure wrappers and trash to prevent choking or blockages.
-Give your pet a pet-safe treat or favorite toy instead!

If your pet gets into something potentially toxic, contact your veterinarian or Pet Poison Control immediately.

Have a happy and pet-safe Halloween!

Our technician team is incredible. They are phlebotomists, dental hygienists, lab techs, surgical techs, anesthesiologists, x-ray, techs, counselors, educators, and so much more. As tech week wraps up we wanted to share what our doctor team thinks of our vet tech team.

🎃🐾 Dr Passinault, Ashlyn, and Maria had a great time at the Selzer-Ornst Community Trick-or-Treat event tonight! It was wonderful seeing so many familiar faces and making new connections as well. Community engagement means so much to us at Greendale Village Vet, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a fun event! 🧡

It’s staff appreciation week at GVV, and things are looking a little… suspicious!
Dr. Passinault created an entire murder mystery game for our team to solve throughout the week!
Our suspect wall is up and riddles, clues, and blood themed trivia will keep everyone guessing until the big reveal at Friday’s staff meeting. Behind all the sleuthing is something that’s no mystery: how much we appreciate this team. Their compassion, dedication and hard work make a difference for our patients and clients every day. Follow along this week as we celebrate our staff and see who cracks the case. We’ll be sharing the characters along the way so be sure to check out our stories and take your guesses!
