This pyrenees/mix has been in Van Buren County, living off busy 65 in a town near business for many months. AC aware. Thankfully, the shop owners have been feeding it and now healthier. This dog is very skittish and another nearby shop owner was very helpful to setup a camera to get these better pictures. He has put on some weight and not great but also not as matted as first thought.
He is getting fed and water and occ flea and tick meds given as able. He will need a dog house if he cant get into a rescue or be caught.
Shelter in Clinton also has a few kennels (full) that still are needing 2 new dog houses very soon. Current goal is to build 4 Lg dog houses (houses are built in pairs per building plans) which will provide 1 for the pyrenees. The remaining 3 houses will be donated to Almost Home Animal Rescue / City of Clinton Animal Control for shelter dogs and community use for another dog in need beore winter.

I will need donations or contributions for supplies and volunteers, anyone or groups (school shop, boyscouts, etc) local to Clinton willing to help build or paint the houses.

Winter is just around the corner, and we want to make sure every one of our shelter residents has a warm, comfortable bed to rest on.

As cooler weather approaches this weekend here in Greenbrier, Arkansas, we are beginning to take up donations to put towards dog housing needed in the community. They will be for owners in good legal standing but need some help and for emergency uses for finders/fosters of strays.

Hello! We will be starting up our community outreach campaign soon as cooler temperatures will soon be upon us!

We will have straw program for taking up donations and distributing to outdoor owned pets needing help or other stray needy paws.

We will also soon be taking donations for second hand dog houses and supplies for emergency needy paws. Last yr we were able to supply 5, we hope to improve these numbers with an earlier head start.

We will also be looking at establishing partnerships with other local businesses, community youth groups, and maybe a retired handyman ? In constructing improved WROOF houses over the inadequate plastic ones that do little to protect against cold or hot weather.

We will also be assisting with donations to stock the Faulkner county pet food pantry and hopefully coordinate with assistance and non-profit organizations that provide spay and neuter and pet meds for struggling families.

Please help us reach our goals and help support our community and help the strays this Winter!

Friends, our fur babies feet are hot!🔥🐶 We want to cover the surface of our kennel run area, where our dogs get to get fresh air, sunshine, run and play, and stretch their legs, with pet turf!💚 We need to raise about $5000 for the product and the installation.💳💵 And yes, we have to use this specific kind. We can’t spread germs and diseases to our babies with regular Astroturf. It can’t be cleaned and sanitized the way that it needs to be. This will also be wonderful in the winter when it’s very cold. Please help us if you can! 50 donors of $100 or 25 donors of $250 will get us there!🙏

* Special note as this continues to be brought up when a few people have chosen to head to Google and ChatGPT. As we, and so far none of our commenters, are experts and installing this product, just know it will not be secured directly to the concrete. We know turf products can get hot. Anything can get hot when it’s sitting in direct sun. (BTW, we do have canvas shade triangles that we install as needed.) The special way they install it with a grid system, it will be cooler. Softer. And easy to clean and sanitize. And remember, we don’t just have animals in the summer months. It will help with the really cold concrete in the winter and with the roughness of the concrete throughout the year. We love our animals and have dedicated thousands of hours as a board of directors and have invested our own money. We want what is best for our animals.
