The mission: Fostering a caring community for animals by providing shelter, advancing anim

al welfare, and promoting the bond between animals and humans through innovative programs, education and service. The Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center is located at 900 25th Avenue NE in Great Falls, MT. The 13,600 square foot facility, provides temporary shelter to cats and dogs in a safe, pleasant and humane environment. Training and education areas provide space for humane education and training courses.

This sweet girl is loving, smart, and has the best manners! She is the definition of a gentle giant, and it breaks our hearts that she still hasn’t found her forever family.

Xena absolutely loves people, especially kids. She has been having the best time at kids camp and absolutely adores all the kids she gets to spend time with. 🐾

Meet our sweet senior boy, Queso. ❤️🐾

Queso came to us as a stray, and like so many animals who enter our doors, we hoped his family would come looking for him. Sadly, no one ever came to reclaim him. 💔

It’s always heartbreaking to watch an animal wait for the people they know and love, only to realize that no one is coming back. For Queso, that meant leaving behind the life he knew and starting over at 11 years old.

You would never know this boy has been through such a big change. Queso is full of energy, love, and the sweetest personality. He has such a positive spirit and always seems to find a reason to be happy. Walk into his kennel, and you’ll be greeted with tail wags, a big smile, and tons of love. 🥰

Now, Queso just wants what every animal deserves: a family to love him and a place to call home. We hope his forever family is out there and that he doesn’t have to wait much longer. ❤️

The following animals have recently been brought to Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center as strays. If you believe one may be your pet, please contact the Center at (406) 727-7387.

To help verify ownership, we don’t publicly share gender, spayed/neutered status, microchip information, or collar/tag details. If identification was found, owner contact attempts have already been made.

Please don’t post identifying details in the comments. This helps ensure pets are returned to their rightful families.

We are open Tuesday through Friday, 11am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-6pm.

Sly and Scoots are still looking for their forever home! 🐾❤️

These two are a bonded pair looking for a calm, loving family ready to welcome them both into their home. They have come such a long way since the day they first arrived at our center.

When they came to us, they were terrified and struggled to trust our staff. But over the past few months, they slowly learned that they were safe—and we’ve had the joy of watching their true personalities shine through.

Today, Sly and Scoots are sweet, loyal, affectionate, and full of personality. They may keep you on your toes, but they’ll give you all the love in the world in return. ❤️

We are so grateful to True Brew for supporting the animals of our community! Today from 2:00–4:00 PM, True Brew is donating 15% of all proceeds to the MacLean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center at their 901 and 1801 locations.

📢 PSA! Please Read Below

We want to take a moment to clarify what our organization does and how we are able to help our community.

We are an animal adoption center focused on taking in healthy stray and surrendered animals, helping them find loving forever homes, and educating our community about responsible and proper animal care.

As a nonprofit organization, our ability to provide care depends entirely on grants, donations, and service income. While we do have an Emergency Medical Fund to help animals already in our care, our resources do not allow us to provide medical care to animals who are not currently in our care.

We do not have a veterinarian on-site 24/7. If you find an animal that is sick, injured, or in need of immediate medical attention, please seek veterinary care for that animal at a local veterinary office as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide medical treatment for animals who are not already in our care, and we are unable to intake animals who are currently sick or injured due to our limited medical resources and capacity.

We understand that finding an animal in need can be upsetting, and we know that people reach out to us because they want to help. We truly appreciate that compassion. ❤️ However, it is important that sick and injured animals receive the immediate veterinary attention they need from a veterinary professional.
