🌈💔 Remembering Sweet Libby Furtek 💔🌈

Today, we are holding a special place in our hearts for Libby Furtek, a beloved pup and loyal client of Barks and Recreations. Libby was truly one of a kind — a gentle soul with a sparkle in her eye and tinsels in her hair. She absolutely loved getting pampered, and she always left our spa looking fabulous and feeling even better.

Libby was especially dear to our groomer Kayla, who adored her visits and her sweet, loving nature. Her presence brought warmth and smiles to everyone she met, and it was always a joy to have her in the shop.

Our hearts and warmest thoughts are with her amazing mama, Stephani, who gave Libby a life full of love, comfort, and care. Stephani, your devotion was inspiring — from the special treatments to the constant cuddles, Libby truly had it all because of you.

We will miss Libby dearly, but her memory and spirit will always be part of the Barks family. And Stephani, please know we’re always here for you — with love, support, and an open door.

It’s been such a fun, feel-good week around here. We truly love what we do, and it shows in every tail wag, happy bark, and proud prance out the door. 💛🐾

☀️ It’s been a great week at Barks & Recreations! We’ve been beating the heat thanks to our amazing staff, our playful four-legged friends, and the most supportive pup parents around 🐾💦

Our daycare crew has been loving the indoor treadmill to stay active and cool — talk about fit and fabulous! 🐕‍🦺💪 And some of our superstars have been showing off their progress from our Saturday & Sunday training classes with Justin… we are so proud of their hard work and growth! 🐶🎓

🌞🐾 Lots of love to our bathing room this week at Barks & Recs! We’ve been busy with deshedding galore for our bath clients — helping pups stay cool and comfy through this summer heat wave. Our groomers have been serving up beautiful summer cuts, and we’ve welcomed both old friends and new into the shop. 🐶✂️

Our incredible team has been working hard to keep your pups looking, feeling, and smelling their best—whether they’re rolling in the grass, splashing in the lake, or (uh-oh!) getting into a little skunky trouble. 🦨💦

We appreciate your patience as we navigate busy days, last-minute flea & tick baths (yes, they’re out in full force this season!), and the occasional wild pup who just isn’t ready for spa time. 😉
