I am not of the belief that we must always redirect innate behavior, rather provide a conducive environment that fosters the natural instincts of each breed.
Huskies especially LOVE exploring and this little lady loves zipping around and crossing streets and being on the side walk simply isn’t the environment where she totally enjoys it and that is OK!
I find hidden gems along the way so she has ample opportunity to sniff and lick up new scents.
I take “stop and smell the roses”
To heart when walking my canine friends who especially need that pause!
