We made a quick trip down to Belton today for the show and Moana was WB and BOW for a point. She is officially singled out and just needs her final major to finish 👏

The Gothic Literature Litter has arrived, and we are completely in love 🖤📖 Just look at those sweet little faces!

Indy outdid herself with this litter. This is a complete outcross breeding, but the pedigree brings together some incredible dogs and proven producers on both sides—making this combination especially exciting.

This is also Sir’s very first litter, and I’ve been so eager to see what he would produce and what traits he would consistently stamp on his puppies. So far, I am loving what I’m seeing. Indy and Sir certainly made something special together.

We can’t wait to watch Poe, Bram, Grimm & Lenore grow and see what unfolds over the coming weeks.

Stay tuned… there’s much more to come from these little literary legends✨

Huge congratulations to Team Pickles on an incredible weekend!

Pickles picked up multiple UKC Best of Breed and Group wins, including an exciting Group 1! We are so proud of this team and everything they continue to accomplish together.

Pickles was one of several other Effervescent dogs had who fantastic weekends, too! We’re so proud of our dedicated owner-handlers and love watching them and our puppies shine together in whatever their endeavors!

Huge congratulations to Team Thistle on an incredible weekend at the MADTA Agility Trials!

Thistle absolutely rocked it, bringing home two 1st-place finishes, a 3rd, three 4ths, 6 T2B points, 49 MACH points, and a TRIPLE QQQ!

What a fantastic weekend for this team! We are so proud of all they continue to accomplish together and love watching them shine! ❤️

We weren’t able to make it to the BCSA National this year, but Team Effervescent was still proudly represented in yesterday’s Special Attraction exhibit—and we couldn’t be more excited to announce that Team Zorro went Best Smooth! 🖤🤍

A huge congratulations to Zorro’s owner-handler, Savannah, who has worked tirelessly to train, condition, and show this special boy. Seeing their hard work come together with such a wonderful accomplishment is incredibly rewarding, especially at their very first specialty show!

Zorro is AKC major-pointed Effervescent’s Justice Leaves Its Mark, and we are so proud of everything this team has accomplished together. Congratulations, Savannah and Zorro! What a fantastic way to make your specialty debut! 🎉🐾

Gait: The Border Collie is an agile dog, able to suddenly change speed and direction while maintaining balance and grace. Endurance is its trademark. The head is carried level with or slightly below the withers. When shown, Border Collies should move on a loose lead and at moderate speed, never raced around the ring with the head held high. When viewed from the side the trot covers the ground effortlessly with minimum lift of feet. The topline is firm with no roll or bounce. Front reach and rear drive are symmetrical, with the front foot meeting the ground directly under the nose and the rear foot pushing back without kicking up. When the rear foot is coming forward, it should reach to the spot just vacated by the front foot. Viewed from the front, action is forward and true without wasted motion.

Color: The Border Collie appears in all colors or combination of colors and/or markings. All
colors are to be judged equally with no one color or pattern preferred over another. White
markings may be clear white or ticked to any degree. Random white patches on the body are
permissible but should not predominate. The predominant ear color should match the primary
body color. Color and markings are always secondary to physical evaluation and gait.
