Whew! What a wonderful week Grand Finale Stables had at the wonderful California Springfest Horse Show!
We had beautiful weather, a great facility at Murieta Equestrian Center and the show staff really out did themselves.
We brought a total of 11 teams to the show and it was a joy to put each in the ring. Every team had personal victories, or were encouraged to come out better next time. All lessons at a horse show are invaluable.
Linda and her two stunning mares wowed in harness per usual! "Sophie" knows how to put on a performance and is the ultimate show horse. And "Tess" is such a beautiful mare, to watch her perform in harness is a treat!
Lindsay and her beloved "Belle" swept the Western division and then hit the classical dressage court as well. These two certainly have a special bond.
Lu and her trusty steed "Stanley" rocked their dressage tests as is expected! These two have their sights on another title in OKC already!
Ashlyn and her up and coming western super star, "Rudy", made their debut rides and it was just as beautiful as we expected. This team is going places! Ashlyn turned 15 during the show and Rudy made it the best birthday ever!
Kyla and "Rhythm"...goodness did these two come READY! They put together such a spectacular ride they had both Megan and Allison tearing up! Watching Kyla grow in her skills and learn how to ride the pants off this GAME gelding has been an utter joy!
Lisa and "Alice" are a new pair who have a bright future. This beautiful blonde mare has been the perfect partner for Lisa as she returns to the show ring. Can't wait to watch their partnership grow! Lu took Alice into the Dressage court as well where they put together some lovely tests.
Eden & "Buzz"....these two "kids" made their western debut and made us all proud. These best buds have so much fun and success in their future and we can't wait to see all the wonderful things that they do.
Shari & "Callie" made their driving debut and handled it in style. This team is set to have a fun season of riding and driving. Unless of course, someone wants to make Callie their new partner! Callie is available, safe, equitated and a blast to ride and drive!
Grace & her beloved "Blake" hit the show ring and enjoyed every moment of it! When Grace shows Blake, you know she's having FUN and Blake always knows how to put on a show! This team has their sights set on CDE in the future and we can't wait to cheer them on!
Kayli & Harley teamed up for the Academy division. We are so excited for Kayli and her sweet parents as they embark on their first show season! What a magical thing it is to enter the Morgan Show Community. Kayli has a bright future as she is putting in the hard work to move out of Academy and into the big time! Way to go Kayli!
A big THANK YOU to the show for offering Dressage as well. Megan rode Elaine's "Wren" and Ruth's "Sophie" in classical Dressage. These two talented dressage mares did their mom's proud!
