Southern Oregon Dog Training

Southern Oregon Dog Training We are a family owned and operated dog training business. Welcome to the Southern Oregon Dog Training!

We use science based methods and modern positive reinforcement based training concepts to help you and your dog be successful! We are your best friend when it comes to training your dog. It doesn’t matter if you are just thinking about getting a puppy or have a 5-year-old with a list of behavior issues you want to work on. We can help you with a wide variety of dog related concerns, problems and d

aily challenges. We want to do more for you than just help teach your dog how to sit for you. We want for all of our clients to understand how dogs learn and understand why they do the things they do. We find it empowering for owners to understand some key concepts of training and dog psychology. This understanding allows you to be successful in training and leading your dog long after training with us.

Business Summary

Southern Oregon Dog Training {“SODT”} is serving an expanding and demanding market. The demand in our industry is being forced forward by evolving dog owners who want to do more with their dogs than ever before; This is the reason we have seen an increase in dog behavioral challenges. Our training helps address, identify and overcome these challenges.

About SODT

SODT was founded by Beau and Aleesha Bushnell in 2015. We grew up in Grants Pass and were drawn together by our love of animals. Our family includes 6 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 children (yes, we are outnumbered by our pets). Dog ownership comes with many joys and challenges. Training gives your dog an outlet and can greatly reduce your dogs’ anxiety, destructive behaviors, and over-the-top energy levels.
