🧡 A Huge Thank You to Our Amazing Foster Parents! 🧡
Today, we want to shine a spotlight on the incredible humans who open their hearts and homes to animals in need. Our foster parents provide love, patience, and a safe place for pets to heal, grow, and prepare for their forever families.

You’re the bridge between rescue and adoption, and the reason so many happy endings are possible. 💕 From the tiniest kittens to the most senior pups, every wag, purr, and snuggle is thanks to YOU.

We are endlessly grateful for your compassion, commitment, and the countless ways you make a difference. Thank you for being the heroes our animals need. ❤️

🐾 Meet Our Pets of the Week: Chester & Perdita! 🐾
Shelter Friends is happily sponsoring half of the adoption fees, but you have to mention this ad!
🧡Meet Chester! Chester is a ~4 year old boy who weighs ~75 lbs. He's a sweet boy who takes a few minutes to warm up to new people. He loves squeaky toys and will chase after them when thrown! He doesn't show much interest in treats though. You may be wondering why he is shaved. Well, he came to us severely matted and saving his coat was unfortunately not an option. He's lived with and met many dogs and he's very tolerant and co-existent with them. He has no known history with cats or kids, but we are hopeful because of his gentle demeanor. He's looking for a home where he can learn confidence in himself and be introduced to living indoors!
He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. His adoption fee is $175, but mention this ad and only pay $87.50 to bring this handsome fella home.

🧡 Meet Perdita! Perdita is a wonderful girl, who is about 4 years old. Her previous owner said she has spent time with children, and has done well with them. She tends to be a little skittish at first, but given a little patience, she comes around to loving affection and pets. She has lived with other cats and dogs, but tends to be fearful, especially of dogs. She might do best as an only animal, or with someone who matches her energy. She does like to be a lap cat, and her favorite bed is a thick, fuzzy blanket she can make biscuits on. Perdita is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. Her adoption fee is $90, but mention this ad and pay only $45 to bring this queen home.

They are available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter

🐾 Meet Our Pets of the Week: Bolt & Brooke! 🐾
Shelter Friends is happily sponsoring half of the adoption fees, but you have to mention this ad!
🧡Meet Bolt! Bolt LOVES his people! He is a very affectionate boy who lives to be with his people, and will melt when attention is given. He is a boy who is currently 67 pounds and is about a year and a half old. He was surrendered, and we were told he likes to wander when not fenced, and spent most of his time outside on the property. He needs someone who will help guide him in trying new things and discovering the world! He has chased livestock in the past, so a home where there is none would be best. Even though he does great with dogs, we were told he needs to eat separately from others. Otherwise, he has lived with other dogs, and does well meeting all kinds of new dogs. His previous owner said he has lived with kids, and loves them! He is definitely motivated by affection, treats and toys...but mostly loves pets the most. He is very eager to please. His favorite thing is to snuggle!
He's fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. He is $175 to bring home!

🧡 Meet Brooke! This young girl is about 2-3 months old. Brooke can be reserved at first, but warms up to be soo sweet. She is playful and curious once she's comfy.
She is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. Her adoption fee is $120, but mention this ad and Shelter Friends will pay half her adoption fee so you can bring Brooke home for $60.

🐾 Meet Our Pets of the Week: Oma & Nia! 🐾
These two beautiful bonded girls are looking for their forever home and we’re determined to help them find it!

To make it even easier, Shelter Friends will cover half their adoption fee. Even better? Adopt them together for just $45 total with our special two-for-one feline sponsorship!

They arrived 4 months ago and in that time they've seen over a hundred cats come in after them and get adopted before them.

They’re sweet, loving, and ready to bring double the joy to your life. 💕

Please share this post and help us spread the word. Together, we can give Oma and Nia the happy ending they deserve!

🧡 Oma and Nia are 1-ish year old fixed females searching for their forever home. Oma and her sister Nia are the shelter's longest cat residents, and they're ready to take on the world together! They're the first cats you see when you walk into the shelter's cat adoption building. If you stop for just a moment outside their window or door to their playroom, they're up immediately and running to the door in hopes you could be their person. Oma is reserved with new people, but Nia helps her feel more confident in socializing with anyone who comes to pay them a visit. They both are very playful and love any kind of toy you can imagine! Nia is very talkative and is the perfect companion for Oma (and you!). Nia LOVES to play and will jump, roll, and twirl her way into your heart. Nia is a bit more outgoing than her sister, Oma, but they both like to take a bit of time to get acquainted with new people before getting as cuddly as they want to be. Oma and Nia have lived with many other cats before and done well with them. Oma appreciates a cat that will respect her boundaries, and she appreciates the same in people. They have never lived with dogs before, and would probably do best with older kids instead of younger. They can be adopted separately or together, but adopt them together and pay just one fee!
They are both fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. Each are $90 to bring home, but if they were to be adopted together, Shelter Friends will pay all of one of the adoption fees and half of the other. Soooo, it's only $45 total to bring these two sisters home together!

They are available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter.

Meet our Pets of the Week, Hundo & Kandy! Shelter Friends is sponsoring half of their adoption fees! Please share this post!
🧡 Meet Hundo
Hundo here! I'm an outgoing, dense fella that's ~1 year old and ~70 lbs! I am happy to meet any new person and I'd love to have someone to adventure with. I loovvvee treats and toys and I will sit when asked for a cookie. I've met other dogs here and I love female dogs, and I'm okay with submissive males or younger male pups. The staff don't know my history with kids or cats, but they think I'd do better with kids who are stable on their feet. I just want someone to love, will you be that person?
I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $175 to bring home, but...mention this ad and Shelter Friends will pay half the adoption fee! So it's only $87.50 to bring me home to join your family.

🧡 Meet Kandy
Hi, I'm Kandy. That's right, I am a sweet and delightful girl! I am estimated to be around 3 years old. I'm very social and outgoing and I don't shy away from giving quick boops to your hand for pets. I loooove getting pets! I am not a fan of dogs, at all, and I'd love to find myself in a dog-free home, please. I'm fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and up to date on parasite preventatives. I am $90 to bring home, but Shelter Friends is paying half my adoption fee so you can bring me home for
just $45!

They are available at the Josephine County Animal Shelter.
