Another goodbye💔 Lilo was 15. A very tiny little girl with a big heart. When she was young she had to have her left rear leg amputated. This little peanut buzzed around on 3 legs like a champ! She was sweet and loved to be held. My dogs would let her curl up with them while she waited for her dad to pick her up. Needless to say, her parents are devastated. They had already lost her brother Stitch so now their home is without a dog to snuggle, to care for and love. They were so good to me for many years and I will miss them. Goodbyes suck! RIP Little Lilo💔💔💔. You were truly loved!

The most difficult thought to handle when working with seniors is knowing that today might be the last time I get to spend with them.
Miss Stella has been with me for many years. She was soon to turn 18! Wow!! This dog was different than most seniors. She never seemed old. As the years went by she was obviously aging although it didn’t seem like she was getting old. Her s***k never left. She didn’t struggle to walk or stand or even hear me. She stood strong on the grooming table, in the bathtub and even still jumped at the gate😮 Not even once did she ever give me trouble. She didn’t complain about the long baths or drying time with her still very thick coat. Stella was such a good girl. It’s hard to put into words how much I will miss her and her family. I’ve known them since I was a very young groomer at my Woodbury shop. Her mom is dear to me and I will miss her staying to chat. I will miss her hugs and miss seeing her smiling face walking into the shop. Instead of this being a sad post I’d rather say…..Cheers to Miss Stella who lived a long long happy life filled with love and adventure. Rest in peace sweet girl🙏 You are already deeply missed❤️
