Please read the following updates that begin on April 1st!🐾
1. As much as I hate to do it, there will be a $5 price increase.
My supplies have went up drastically in price and I really have no other choice.
2. I’ve been pretty lienient on matting fees but I’m going to have to really be strict with those now. If I have to shave your dog before it’s bath because it’s so matted, there will be a $10 matting fee. “Dirty shaving” ruins my clipper blades but I can’t wash a matted dog.
Blades run me $35-$40 a piece.
I just can’t eat this expense anymore.
3. Travel fees will be going up. I do a LOT of driving lol I’ve tried to keep it really low but I’m not even covering my gas most of the time. So the following fees will be put in place;
*Altus:$20 -100 miles round trip
*Blair, Mangum, Hobart: $15 - approximately 62 miles round trip
*Sentinel: $20 -72 miles round trip
*Hollis: $10 per pet. -200 miles round trip.
If I am picking up for multiple people, the cost will be shared between clients.
4. XXL dogs ( over 70 lbs) will be on a case by case basis. I have some that are amazing and I can groom easily .
Others are too much for me to lift anymore. I’m getting old and my back is telling me to slow down on the giant dogs 😂 We can discuss them and I’ll let you know if I’m able to do them!
5. I take CASH, CASH APP, VENMO.
I don’t usually have change because everyone pays in big bills or online.
I DO NOT TAKE CHECKS. We have an ATM at our local bank and Sunny’s if you need access to cash.
6. Last but not least, No show fees😬
I hate them, I understand things come up and you can’t keep your appt! All I ask is a 24 hr notice if you need to cancel. This gives me time to fill that spot. I will no longer reschedule someone that just “no shows”. Some people have a pattern doing this and it hurts my business. Text, call, just let me know you won’t be here!
If you cancel the day of your appt, there will be a $20 cancellation charge, so giving a 24 hr notice will save you money! Some groomers make you put a deposit down when you make an appt and I don’t want it to have to come to that. So please work with me on this!
🌻 I hope everyone will continue to use me as their groomer! I know the increase will bother a few people but it’s something that’s unavoidable.
