Country Pupkins Animal Rescue I save dogs that have been dumped in the country or are at risk of being euthanized in rural shelters.

I am not a long term rescue but try to give everyone their best shot at getting a home or sent to a bigger rescue. We save rural dogs that have thrown away like trash from being euthanized by finding rescue, get vetting and transporting them to safety ! We work mostly with small towns who have no actual animal shelters and have no real resources. We run strictly on donations so please consider donating to our cause!

He’s doing really great though, and it is really coming a long way.

This is Buddy. He is a 2 yr old Doodle that is just a super sweet guy.
He’s been freshly groomed and is ready for his forever home. He is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, housetrained, kennel trained, good with other dogs of all sizes, loves kids, is OK with cats but a little more curious than I’m comfortable with.
He’s about 70 lbs and solid lol
He loves his snacks and is great on car rides. He loves to go for walks and does great on a leash.
He would be the perfect family dog❤️
Please keep in mind, Buddy will need groomed every 6-8 weeks and that’s going to cost $100 minimum.
If this isn’t in your budget then please don’t apply for Buddy . Doodles are high maintenance dogs.

I’ve had several people message me thinking Walter might be their dog. We do the name test and nope, he’s just Walter.
If I DID find Walter’s previous owner, they would have to show me vet records that he belongs to them. Then they would have to tell me why he is in such rotten shape that he is. Why was he running literally in the middle of the streets for WEEKS??? Matted, motor oil all over his back, flea infested, teeth rotted out so bad that it hurts him to eat.
Yes, please explain to me how your beloved dog is in the shape.
He deserved so much better and now he is getting it.

My challenge to you for 2026 .....
Do something for your communities animals!
Volunteer at your local shelter, foster a dog, donate money to your local rescue, help with an adoption event, help your neighbor that might be having a hard time with pet food, trap feral cats and get them Spayed/ Neutered.
There are so many ways to help!
I started this journey almost 15 yrs ago and have saved over 3000 dogs and cats from being euthanized. It all started because a need was seen in my area and I stepped up. That's all it takes. Don't just say someone needs to do something..... DO IT!!! BE THE SOMEONE!!!
NO MORE EXCUSES!
If you see animal abuse, report it. Don't quit reporting it until someone has done something to change that situation.
BE THE VOICE OF THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES!!!!
If you don't, no one will.

Don’t judge my floors because I pulled all my carpet up lol this is Holly and she needs a home lol she needs kids to play with room to run. She is about nine weeks old and I don’t know what she’s mixed with, but she’s adorable. She’s not gonna be very big maybe a medium sized dog. She will be fully vetted at the time of adoption.
