🌟 Horse Country Internship Program 🌟
Are you a teen (14 & up) who loves horses and wants to learn all about them? Join our School-Year (September thru June) Discounted Riding/Training Program at Horse Country Farm! This is a fantastic opportunity for horse-lovers to work with horses, help teach students, assist the farrier and veterinarian, and participate in all kinds of horse activities.
What’s included in your internship schedule?
9AM: Help open the farm (feeding, bringing in horses, and other chores)
10AM: Groom & saddle your horse + help beginning students
11AM: Assist with riding instruction or join a lesson/trail ride
12:30PM: Lunch with students, leaders, and staff (plus extra grooming)
1:30PM: Young Horse Class or Lesson/Trail Ride
3:30PM: Patterns or games on horseback, or a trail ride
5PM: Stable management & help close the farm
5:30-6PM: All done!
Cost:
2 days each month for only $199.00 per month!
Hours are adjusted for Daylight Saving Time.
Interns come 2 days a month (choose Wednesdays or Saturdays each month).
Schedule subject to change for weather, holidays, and student needs.
