Hey everyone meet Red!!

15-16 year old
15hh Sorrel Quarter Horse.
Up to date on coggins

Red is the go to guy for just about everything. He’s an absolute sweetheart. He has been one of my main guys for my lesson program and has been a dream, nothing bothers this guy, I have had him for almost a year now and this boy does not disappoint and excepts anything thrown at him. From winning buckles for my students to moving cattle with my husband he has done it all. He has a fantastic stop and some fancy to him. His slight personality flaw is he is a little bit of a turd to catch but isn’t impossible.

The reason for selling is he has developed what I believe is arthritis in his front foot. If I had the room he would be staying but due to my lesson students, who show competitively, are advancing and I just don’t think he can keep up. I don’t feel it’s fair to expect him to push through what is demanded by them in the shows. He has had chiro work done, he is shoed on his front and as long as you keep his toe fairly short he’s smooth to ride. He rides great at a walk and trot but has a hard time staying in a lope for any length of time. He also seems to be more comfortable in front boots as well.

If you’re wanting a solid trail horse, something for a beginner, or just a nice W/T horse he’s your guy!

The secret is out!! June Bug is finally with Ms Emmzlee !!
June Bug has been playing the roll of Mrs Taylor’s new “lesson horse” for a few weeks now until we got closer to Emmzlees birthday although her birthday is still a few weeks away it was perfect weather and timing for us to spill the beans!! It’s been hard to keep a secret but watching her excitement on her face when she realized he was hers was all worth it!!

Huge mile stone for this boy!! Soo excited to have him out and about out of the round pen. With the type of horse he is and his past I’m excited for this guy! Good boy Peso!!

Haven’t made a Peso post in a while this boy has been awesome with this weather being so bipolar and only really have a one day a week to mess with him. He has had a few great rides in what I consider “full gear” breast collar, back cinch the whole nine yards he has done great!! Working slowly to being able to be a full fledge ridable horse! Im proud of this boy!
