This Friday and Saturday are your LAST chances to hit the trails before we wrap up the 2026 trail riding season!

🍁 Friday, October 30
Office opens at 11:30 AM. Rides begin at noon and leave on the hour.

🍁 Saturday, October 31
Office opens at 8:30 AM. Rides begin at 9 AM and leave every half hour.

⏰ Both days: Last ride leaves at 5 PM, and sign-ups close at 4:30 PM.

Come make one more memory with us before the horses head into their winter vacation! Thank you for another wonderful season—we hope to see you this weekend! ❤️

🍂 Favorite Place to Ride: In the back of the front woods, especially in the fall when the leaves are in full color! 🍁

🥒 Favorite Snack: Hummus and cucumbers!

😂 Funniest Customer Story: My first season, I had a lady call the office asking about bringing her daughter out for her 18th birthday. Later that day, I recognized her voice when she arrived because she had such a distinct accent!

When I greeted her, I asked if she was riding too, and she told me no. Well, when they came out to the barn, she had a ride ticket after all! 😂

She was SO nervous! Even though she was being ponied on one of our very best horses, she prayed the ENTIRE ride. And when I say she got into her gospel, I mean we practically had a full-blown church service in the woods! 🙌🤣

I SO wish that woman would come ride with me again! She actually became a fairly regular customer for the rest of that season, and we always had the best time. The more comfortable she got, the less gospel our rides included, but they were always a whole lot of fun! ❤️

There's truly never a dull moment at Sundance, and it's the people we meet along the way who make this job so memorable! 🐴

🐴 **WINTER HORSE LEASE APPOINTMENTS NOW OPEN!** ❄️

We are officially scheduling **in-person appointments to meet and observe the horses available for our 2026–2027 Winter Lease Program!**

We have **limited lease openings available**, and all riders must be appropriately matched with a horse and approved by management before moving forward with a lease.

🐴 A Little Behind-the-Scenes at Sundance! 🤎

Sometimes it’s easy to come to our page and think summer camps, trail rides, lessons and pony rides—but there’s another big part of Sundance that you may not see quite as often!
We are also a full-service boarding facility, home to a wonderful community of horses and their owners. We love being able to bring educational opportunities and knowledgeable equine professionals right here to the farm for our boarders.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Camri Adair with Robbie Phillips Saddle Company out to Sundance for a day of saddle fitting—and we cannot say enough good things about the experience!

Camri worked individually with several of our boarders and their horses, evaluating their current saddles and helping determine how we could improve fit and comfort for both horse and rider.

One of the things we appreciated most was her honesty. This wasn't about selling everyone a new saddle. In fact, whenever someone's existing equipment could work, Camri encouraged them to use what they had already invested in and showed them how to make it work better.

Sometimes that meant adjusting shim placement or padding. Sometimes it meant trying an entirely different saddle. One boarder even discovered that the best solution was simply switching the saddles she was already using between her two horses!

Several riders were also able to saddle up and actually ride in different options, allowing Camri to evaluate the fit in motion and giving the riders an opportunity to feel the difference themselves.

There was no pressure and no sales pitch—just an incredible amount of knowledge, honesty and genuine concern for the comfort of each horse and rider.

Thank you, Camri, for spending the day with our Sundance family! We absolutely loved having you and would happily welcome you back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

And to our boarders—thank you for continuing to make Sundance so much more than just a riding stable. We're pretty lucky to have the horse community that we do. 🤎🐴

Due to large reservations, our final trail ride will depart at 3:00 PM on:

Our first ride will still depart at 12:00 PM as usual. The last chance to sign up for a trail ride will be at 2:30 PM on both dates.
