Penelope started off her birthday this morning with a lovely gift from her cat friend, Oliver, who brought her a live mouse that they both enjoyed chasing around the house for a while until the people could finally catch it and get it out. Then she got to play tug with her pug brother Walter and now they are both on their way to pick out new toys. What a way to start a birthday! We love that she is so loved. 🥰 Happy Birthday, Penelope. Happy Birthday, Doc! 🎉🎁 Doc gets to go to work with his people at their shop in Silverton, where he has his own little bed behind the counter and he likes to greet all of the customers. Happy Birthday to Max! 🎉🎁 This boy gets to spend all day with his people and he LOVES water! He has a little pool he likes to play in at home and especially likes to chase toys in, and he gets to go to a lake to run along the shore. We really love to see these guys having such happy lives! Happy Birthday, Luna!! Luna gets to ride motorcycles and go to work with her dad. She also has a ball launcher that she’s learned how to use and has a special bed built just so she can watch out the windows, like the little princess she is! Happy birthday to these little cuties! They are 1 year old today! 🎉🎁These are Kimber and Hiccup puppies and they are all still just as cute as they were in this pic. 🤩 It has been so much fun this past year hearing about them all as they grow up and live happy, spoiled lives with really fabulous families. ❤️

New adventures! The puppies got to go explore grass in the back yard for the first time today. Mom Kimber and big sister Mocha helped them get the courage to venture out into the grass and Hiccup just wanted someone to play ball with him. They all did really well and decided the grass was pretty fun. They are so much fun!

During cuddle time with the puppies last night, Hiccup was fighting with a ball next to us on the couch, pouncing and yelling at it. This little girl thought that sounded like fun and wanted to join in. She was barking right back at him and trying to get to the ball. She’s a little firecracker!

Puppies moved into their big kid bed today. It is an exercise pen with a crate in one corner that has the door taken off. This set up lets them adventure around a little more and become more exposed to family life and sounds since this is in our living room. It also lets Kimber have free access to come and go and keep feeding them comfortably, and gives more space for more mess when we give them soft food. This also works with their natural instincts to want to sleep in a clean, safe place to help start them on crate training and potty training. They learn that the crate is a good, safe, happt place where they like to be, and that they don’t want to potty there. They are growing up so fast!!
