We are an organized team of Animal Advocates who believe there is a need for a centralized base for animal-related issues in our area. It is our hope that citizens, adopters, rescues, fosters, transporters, volunteers and adoption center staff will come together and share information, ideas, animal-in-need requests, animal-related events ,and Lost and Found pets on this site. Through committed tea

mwork we can benefit the animals of our area, and address community animal concerns and issues in a positive and non-confrontational manner.

These four fabulous felines are waiting at Wayne County Animal Services in Goldsboro, and each one has their own special way of turning up the charm. If you’ve been thinking about adding a new best friend to the family, come in out of the late-summer heat and meet them! ❤️
🧡 GARFIELD #69207 — At just 1 year old, Garfield is a confident, relaxed and friendly orange gentleman. He has that wonderful easygoing personality that makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever. Even better, Garfield is already neutered and ready for adoption! His bags are packed — he just needs somewhere to take them. 🏡
🖤🤍 ANGELICA #65780 — This gorgeous 6-month-old tuxie is every bit as sweet as she is pretty. Angelica has a silky-soft coat, an adorable white bib and the cutest little paint-dipped white front paws. 🎨🐾 Best of all, she’s a snuggler! If you’re looking for a kitten who can bring both beauty and cuddles to your home, Angelica would love to meet you.
💛 MARGOT #69108 — Margot may have the glamorous looks of a diva, but there are no diva demands here! This fluffy 2-year-old beauty is wonderfully down-to-earth, with an extra-plush coat that just begs to be stroked. She’s ready to trade shelter life for the good life — preferably somewhere with a comfy sofa worthy of her fabulousness. 👑
🖤🤍 PATCHES #69138 — One year old, super friendly, happy and wonderfully chill — until you bring out a cat toy! 🐭 Patches loves to play and has such a cheerful personality. She’s a lovely combination of playful companion and laid-back friend. And yes, that distinctive little face makes her even more irresistible!

Tori’s Story — Because of YOU! ❤️

Earlier this month, Tori’s mom reached out to Wayne County Animal Advocates asking for help getting her girl the veterinary care she desperately needed.

Thankfully, because of the generous donations from our amazing supporters, we were able to say YES. ❤️

Tori was not in great shape when she went to the vet. She had a severe UTI and was diagnosed with Diabetes. She received the treatment and care she needed, and we are so happy to report that Tori has turned a corner! 🐾🥰
Much appreciation to Berkeley Veterinary Clinic
She still has a follow-up appointment coming up within the next two weeks, so we aren't quite done cheering her on yet. Please send this sweet girl some healing thoughts, good vibes, and prayers as she continues on her road to feeling better. 🙏❤️

🐾 YOUR NEXT BEST FRIEND MAY BE WAITING AT WAYNE COUNTY ANIMAL SERVICES! 🐾
The cat room in Goldsboro is full of wonderful personalities right now — from playful kittens and loving mommas to mellow grown-ups who would be very happy to trade shelter life for a couch, a sunny window and a person of their own. ❤️
🍊 Yoshi (68955) — At just 3 months old, this little orange boy is a social butterfly who loves being around people. He has plenty of kitten playfulness, but when the fun is over, Yoshi is quite happy to melt into your lap and turn on the purr machine.
💕 Koopa (68956) — Yoshi's beautiful 2-year-old momma is a gentle, loving tabby girl. She's raised her baby and now deserves a home where she gets to be the one who is spoiled.
🖤 Teddy (68751) — This handsome 5-year-old gentleman has fuzzy black fur, a mellow disposition and a genuine love for people. If you're looking for a calm companion rather than kitten chaos, Teddy may be your guy.
⭐ Tessie (68337), Twinkle (68336) & Tillie (68338) — Meet the adorable starlets of the cat room! These girls have personality to spare, plenty of playfulness and the sort of faces that make it very difficult to walk past their condos without stopping to say hello.
❄️ Klondike (69166) — At 5 years old, Klondike has perfected the art of being a chillmeister. He's relaxed, friendly and still appreciates a good cat toy when the mood strikes. He could make a wonderful companion for a single person or fit right into family life.
🧦 Celeste (58996) — This adorable little tabico kitten comes accessorized with the cutest white socks! Celeste is curious but a little shy at first. Give her some time to get to know you, though, and you'll see her sweet personality emerge.
💙 Mirabelle (68996) — Celeste's beautiful momma is super-soft and wonderfully people-loving. She looks pretty comfortable lounging for her portrait — just imagine how much better she'd look lounging on your sofa!
Every one of these cats is waiting for someone to walk through the shelter doors and choose them. Maybe you're that person. 🏡🐾

🌈🐾 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day 🐾🌈
Those of us who have lost a beloved pet know that sometimes the tiniest things can bring them rushing back to our hearts. A favorite toy, a familiar sound, a certain spot in the house, or even a smell can suddenly make us think of them. ❤️
Today is a special day to remember those precious souls who may no longer be by our side, but will always be a part of our hearts.
It’s a day to share their photos, tell their stories, and talk about the silly, sweet, and sometimes unforgettable things that made them them. And sometimes, as we tell those stories, there’s a tear in the corner of our eye… and a little smile on our face. Because remembering them still hurts, but loving them was worth every moment. 🌈🐾

We’re back with Karl! Someone please come and adopt this cool cat. He’s pretty mellow, not a chatterbox, loves a window and toy and most of all loves attention! Approx 2 years of age.
